ORIGINAL: GRSwitch7BB Hi - new here, but hoped to add to debate/discussion. Welcome to the board, and good post. :) quote:
1. Confusion about urinating while erect may stem from medical knowledge that urination is impossible during normal, healthy ejaculation due to reflex closure of the bladder neck (i.e. pre-prostatic sphincter) to prevent retrograde ejaculation. (Ejaculation in men: a dynamic endorectal ultrasonographical study.). I've found no evidence to support that urination not possible with erection, regardless of its rigidity. This has been my understanding as well. Urination while erect is more difficult for me, as the passage constricts more, but it is certainly not painful or impossible. I've done this occasionally for as long as I can remember. Of course, having a sphincter clamping down on the penis will further constrict the passage. And aiming is more difficult. quote:
2. Regarding the potential safety concerns of this endeavor, it would certainly not be advisable to hold significant amounts of urine in one's rectum or colon for extended periods of time, especially if it's done on a regular basis (few times per week?). The reason is that, as it's been stated before, the rectum/colon are quite permeable and absorption of significant quantities of elements in the urine can cause dangerous electrolyte imbalances. This is a well-described complication in people who've undergone cystectomy (removal of urinary bladder) and have had urine flow surgically diverted into their colons. (Electrolyte and acid base imbalance in patients with rectosigmoid bladder.) It is highly unlikely that anyone will be holding it in for a significant amount of time, at least if the volume is significant. Urinating into someone's rectum is effectively speaking an enema, so it is going to come out fairly quickly unless you use a buttplug. Besides, you'll want to be careful with that (buttplug during enema) for entirely different reasons, unless you have a dedicated room set up to deal with gold/brown. The sphincter contracts quite readily after regular penetration, so the sub won't spill if he/she clenches and the Dom withdraws slowly. With the buttplug, however, the sphincter is likely not to contract as quickly, in my experience. And whatever you do, don't let him/her pull it out while standing. Jeez, that has to be one of my most embarassing moments as a Dom. [:'(]
