I was just emailing with someone and they were complimenting me on my new photos with my birthday splurge - a custom fit corset at a fraction of the regular cost (bargain hunter). 

They ended with saying "I Love Corsets!!" - I replied with "I Love Corsets too!"

so my question is this Do You Love Corsets too and why???

when someone whom I believe is vanilla asked me what it is I like about them so much.....the answer was simple - one look in the mirror, it was love at first sight!  Instant shapely figure, look like you dropped 2 dress sizes and breasts desperately trying to escape their confinement.....ya gotta love them! just WOW!

I love them also...
Both seeing woman wearing them, and wearing one myself also.

I love the definition it gives the female body, im a big lover of the figure 8 profile.

As for wearing one, i love the restrictive nature of it.

Hey there,

Great thread idea!  I do love corsets.  I have had many OTR that never did exactly what I wanted them to do.  Now I have a beautiful red velvet corset with black leather trim that nips my waist in so tight and pushes my boobies up to my chin (lol) and I absolutely love it.

There is something so fantastic about the restriction and modesty while also being so revealing and sensual.  The feel of the constriction and the soft velvet against my skin is sublime.  Truly, it is my favorite piece of clothing.  I have been looking into getting a custom waist cincher to wear on a daily basis to do waist training.  You can see a couple of shots of my red one on my profile.

me too. Apart from being exquisite pieces to wear, look and generally own. As many as possible!
I actually like the breath play zone they can provide me. All a flutter with an attack of the vapours. Its a funny place, i love it.
The posture is bondage driven. And the tighter the better. I think id be someone into crushing given a chance, and my corset, the proper training one, does it for me.
Im currently single. Bugger, coz there no lacer around. And try as i might, to follow the gymnastics in 'self lacing' tips. I cant get the fucker shut as good as a 2nd party. Preferably someone else who finds them titilating.
Tits on a shelf, in your face, get a load of these puppies! i just love it.

Which feeling is beter, when someone laces you tight, or when the laces are beeing untied?
I noticed that's more less the same for all the women I was putting the corsets on.

I would have to say when someone is lacing me tight. It's exciting to stand infront of a full length mirror, placing your hands against the wall and keeping your feet at least shoulder width apart to keep your balance. haha (That doesn't even count if you're wearing 6"+ stiletto heels.. heaven knows how much of a challenge that is. haha!) I've gotten to the point where I actually have a stem when tight laced, so it's just beautiful to see the instant transformation. I'm hoping to get down to a 20" by 2008. Gotta love Dark Garden Corsetry! woohoooo!

thank you all for sharing your love of corsets with us - its interesting to hear what drives others desires for them.

I'll have to agree with the instant transformation is absoluately amazing! it was how I fell in love with them. Ohh and talk about the ultimate bondage piece, you require someone to get you into and out of it....have no control of when or how tight....and you can were it in public without anyone raising an eyebrow .....mmmmm yes these are good things.

If anyone is interested, I got my Sweetheart Corset from: http://meschantes.com/ - the prices are cheaper on ebay without any comprise in construction or quality....under $250 for a custom made with 14 measurements.  Sadly there is no incentive for the sales pitch, other than letting others know that you too can have a custom for under $400! those who have seen my corset and paid the $400+ price (many times over) was duly impressed with not only the quality but the fit..they have been coverted lol.

    I love them also. I'm not exactly sure why, but there is something that is sensual and erotic about them. I just love seeing a woman in a corset.

I Love them because they are nice and TIGHT, and feel great. It also holds in my Spare Tire..and gives me a better figure. Though I don't have any Corsets for now, I have to get by with a couple Body Shaping Bras.

Besides, what is BONDAGE, without Corsets.....and Fishnets too, for that matter.

I have had an interest in corsets for some time...  they are great, I can't explain why I love them, but I do.

Part of the interest is in how it shapes my body and part of it is how restrictive it is...  LOL!

I love corsets for the look they give, and oddly enough, I find them very comfortable.  I shocked one of my friends by being able to do yoga in a corset.  (Mind you the seated spinal twist looked strange, but...)
I would love to find a workplace where I could wear them frequently, and a sub/slave to lace me into them.

I will have to say Yoga in a corset is impressive in my book......but now that makes me wonder what is the strangest or most challenging thing you have done in a corset??

Currently I'd have to say putting on my shoes is quite challenging with it laced nicely!

I enjoy making corsets as much as i enjoy wearing them.  They help me look good and feel good about myself.  If I know that I am going to have a long day at work I have an underbust that helps suport my back. If I'm going out I have one that pushes my boobs up to my nose, they are great for everything!!  There is also something about someone saying "Wow, is that a real corset?!? Where did you get it?"  and beign able to reply "I made it myself." That will always make me smile.
