Where are  good online, or book written, references to peoples' scenes to be found?

dincubus -> RE: Scenes (6/20/2007 10:48:54 AM)

there are several good scene ideas in the book "The Loving Dominant"
i really liked that book
then there is always "Screw the roses, send me the thorns"

"Screw The Roses, Send Me the Thorns..." is the best book I have found as far as getting into lifestyle stuff, they have snipets in there about scenes. As far as ideas, just going with the flow and having an idea of what you want to accomplish or use during that time is the best way. As for me, I write a decent amount, so MJ looks at my stories and fantasies as we kinda go from there, a few of them He likes a LOT, and He would love to recreate them with a few changes. You can always read realistic M/s fiction for ideas as to sceens.

Use your imagination, its the BEST 'tool' around. And, its FREE!!!

If you are open to 'fiction' books... there are some great scenes in the Sleeping Beauty series, also Exit to Eden, these were wrote by Ann Rice.  There are also some amazing scenes in the short stories by Anise Nin, caution with these though... they are banned in some areas.

There is a good Negotiation Worksheet on http://www.wizdomme.com which has quite an extensive list of possible role playing situations. I often use it as a starting point for working out a scene of my own. You could also ask people for an account of their own memorable scenes. You are bound to get a thread with some great ideas as people are generally so helpful. To start you off, one of the best "school" based scenes I was involved in was a school scene with a twist - the Dominant dressed in schoolboy clothes as well, which had everyone puzzled - until he revealed the fact that he was playing the part of the school bully!

If you are looking for sites that have lots of "stealable" ideas:

Aakasha's Web (website) is first rate. The woman knows how to weave an idea into the sex, which is absolutely wonderful. Check out her CM profile, and scroll down to her essay on strap-on play, if you want a taste. Her site is loaded with stuff like that.

Thanks for that, Joe. Wow, that's a hot little essay! I'll have to check out the rest of her site.
My personal favourite for role playing is the Customs Officer grilling a traveller suspected of carrying contraband. Naturally I specialize in cavity searches...

I tried to look up Anise Nin on Google and just came up with random quotes.  Can you point me to a link that has an author biography and some information about her books and where to get them?

AquaticSub -> RE: Scenes (6/20/2007 9:23:17 PM)

SM 101 has some great ideas. I also advise checking out some written porn, but remember that people in a story can do anything. Real humans have some limitations. [:)]

I think the spelling is Anais Nin ...

I am going to say sorry in advance... I am about to steal the thread...

Yes, You are right about the spelling.  I just pulled out one of the books and checked for myself.

Her website is   www.anaisnin.com  there is also     http://kirjasto.sci.fi/anaisnin.htm  and there is  www.anais-nin.de  the last site has a great bio of her.  Amazon has a couple of her books... her diaries, Delta of Venus and Little Birds.  She has a great book called 'House of Incest', but that one is banned in most places.  Both Delta of Venus and Little Birds were banned in the US until late 1970's, (at that time, the rights were sold to an American publishing house ~ Harcourt, before that she was with Pocket Books, out of the UK) and they are still banned in some countries.  (Also,,, I believe that there are 'blue laws' in some states/cities/counties that would make owning them a crime)  My copies of these books are first edition copies from the 70's (Pocket Books Editions) (not the reprint that happened the late 90's and early 2000's) yes, I have 'contraband' copies, [:D] (meaning that they were printed during the time period that they were banned.)  I am not sure if you could find Orginal copies anymore, Pocket Books was bought out by Simon and Schuster, but Amazon has some awesome reprints... here is the link for that..   http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b/102-3153170-6508154?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=anais+nin

Okay... can you tell that I am a huge fan of hers??  I hope that this helps... and I am very sorry about stealling the thread...
