Think of it like big jigsaw puzzles.  The trick is to find someone whose psychological bits fit well with yours.

That's not just BDSM, of course - it goes for any relationship.

I dont just find a Dom and submit because I feel like submitting. I submit to my Sir because, well...he does things I enjoy. I'm not gonna hang around in a relationship, vanilla or D/s, where Im miserable. doesnt make me any less a sub, makes me human, im in this lifestyle because I enjoy it. Gonna find a partner with whom I can be comforatble and share my desires with.

Antisocial personality disorder is a psychiatric diagnosis in the DSM (etc) largely characterized by an individual's disregard for social rules, norms, and cultural codes, as well as impulsive behavior, and indifference to the rights and feelings of others - Some Doms are naturally disposed to "ruling the roost" - they will be that big fish in the small pond.
They can be charming, sure, and you will be just a part of their life.  Easy enough recipe for a head start on being constantly dominated, even to the micromanagement stage.
Some submissives want that and thrive.
I have seen that style and am glad I run a different kind of ship - where to Play, Live and Torment others; some bending of the rules, some carefull inconsideration of others are what's called for often enough.  My choice of direction, where those who belong to Me will go with Me, while allowing them to suggest the pace.

Find the Ones that make your head feel good - resentment and regret don't make for long term happiness.
Always the best,
Diva~Zya
