I don't know if this is the proper place to put this.. I have been a part of what is called the BDSM community for as long as I can remember. I have always been attracted to the fringe elements of emotional expression and the extremes of sensation and mental devotion.

I have been working on a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game called Underworld MMO ever since May of 2000. My goal is to create a virtual community for people who share a wide range of darker or more fantastic methiods of expression. My dream is to use the profits to establish an actual real world community for the same people to live and work from.

The major design and technical work is almost finished. I would like any suggestions, questions or comments about teh game from as many in our community as possible. I have two web sites. the first one is old and just sort of shows where our design direction was aimed and what level and style of art we were aiming for ever since back in 2000. Our current site is a place to find current details and articles about the game design and philosophy. It is also a repository for members to look through galleries of related art and images that inspire or guide us http://www.neopangaia.org/nation . I look forward to your comments, suggestions or questions. I just want to work hard to create the best virtual world i can for gamers in the BDSM community, or for people outside of the community to get a taste of it first.

I hate you, because I had this idea first, and was planning to implement it. At some time. In the future.

You know, it's a about fking time. I mean, Japan has been producing pr0n games for forEVER. I wish I could back my enthusiasm with $, but unfortunately I am poor.

However, I will totally buy your game (can I beta? please please please please?) once it comes out in a blaze of success. As long as it's compatible with an ATI Radeon 7500C.
God I need an NVidia graphics card...

Very cool indeed. I love AD&D when we use to play we always added some sexual content. Anyhow I just registered and cant wait for it to be all the way up and running.

The last leg of final production is beginning on the game itself. I welcome any suggestions regarding how you in the BDSM community think it would be best to handle arousal, seduction, rape, willpower and ownership in game. After years of studying and the subject (intellectually, formally and in life/practice), I still do not have a concrete system or method I am ready to apply universally in such a way as is needed in a unified virtual world.

I have allocated these last two weeks to take suggestions, requests or comments regarding this issue. Anyone that woudl like to contribute their thoughts (particularly non-gamers) are more than welcome to post them in this thread or at the public forums at http://www.neopangaia.org/nation

I'd gladly take a look at what you've done so far and offer any suggestions. I used to work for Maxis on the Sim City games and the first The Sims (left to go back to school after that). Let me know if you're to that stage yet and want a critical eye.
