The first problem with living forever is like Krissi said - its only of interest if everyone one knows and loves, lives forever too. The one movie moment guaranteed to get me blubbing is in Highlander, when his wife is dying as an old lady, yet he is still a young man. The second problem with living forever is serious injury that cannot be repaired. Being eternal when someone ran you down with a tank cant be much fun. The third problem Michael - and this one is especially for you, is that it would get very boring, which I seem to remember is one of the themes in Interview With A Vampire. Being mortal is perhaps a curse, but living forever is a more dire predicament by far, as everything loses meaning. With us, one of the greatest lessons to know is that tomorrow may never come, and yesterday is gone forever - so the time to act is now. The longer we sit around doing nothing, the further away our life drifts from where we want it to be, and the clock is always ticking. Nothing is holding you back Michael, apart from yourself, from having the life you want. Its not going to fall into your lap, and no one else cares as much as you or is able as much as you are able, to make it happen. E
