I think you're mistaking my intentions , .....I was just being silly...

Though I really would like to hear what other people think of what the definition "dominant" means..all joking aside...I'm still trying to figure it all out for myself. I've pretty much got a handle on what submissive means for me...but how "the other side" sees things is still frequently a mystery.

My definition may not entirely concur with yours or someone elses...but there has been more that one time in my life when someone said some small thing, one single different view point...and it change and shaped my views in a new and wonderful way.

did I come across in a bad way? If I did tell me where and what.....i'd rather not make it a trend for myself... speech without verbal inflection or facial expression is a complicated thing.

I agree.  This is not the End-All-Be-All definition of a Dominant's or a man's expectations and preferences from their partners.  My Dom would rather I not mess with the running of his household.

I guess i didnt see anything wrong with the OP. I've always thought that a mans home should be His sanctuary, His safe place to go at the end of a long day. Perhaps thats one of the reasons my husband has kept me for 24 years...LOL..oh and of course the obligatory blowjob...LOL

...i am shamed to say that i didn't research the validity before posting...

lol... you didn't search the archives here, either.  From just this year, here are two threads:

1955 a good wife

good wife spin off

But it's a fun article to discuss, nonetheless.    I had my fun with it, too, in my own thread...

A Good Dom...

Working all day is only seen as dominant because it is more valued by society. Some one has to spend all day "working" to pay for the spoiled house wives martinis and manicures while the mommy runs the house hold, takes charge of the "little" ones, and holds the kinky "passion parties"... for her lovely female "friends".... Modern 1950's house holds are not necessarily limited to male dominants and female submissives.
