Okay, wether you like him or not... Johnny Depp is HUGE in our (the US) culture. From his small screen beginnings on 21 Jumpstreet to the Blockbuster Pirates movies, he is everywhere. My question is... what is your all time Favorite Johnny Depp movie, and why?? Mine? From Hell... why? Because I have Always been fascinated with the Jack the Ripper murders. 1st girl Phoenix

He is brilliant D&P, but the Jack Sparrow character just has something that the rest do not. This totally clouds my judgement regarding any possibly better performances. E

well i would have to say i liked him in his latest movies.... he plays the role of a pirate so well it kinda fits to him. Im a huge fan of him....

*Depp is a terrific actor. Ed Wood* and What's Eating Gilbert Grape were both good roles, but I have to echo his work in Pirates is my favorite.**

I have to say Fear and Loathing. I did like him in Edward Scissorhands, and What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Worst movie he made (even though it wasn't asked for): The Libertine

Def Pirates, From Hell. I loved Ed Wood and the one where he was a writer...Rear Window or something like that. I even like him in Willie Wonka. I just love that guy!

Thanks. Secret Window. I even got up to see (I think I have all of his movies on DVD). And Edward Scissorhands! How could I forget that one. I loved him in that.

Depp is incredibly sexy as Jack Sparrow. Something about him. Don't know why, but it's there.

I love his Jack Sparrow best. Aside from that, I loved Edward Scissorhands.

Pirates, Fear and Loathing, Secret Window, From Hell and the First Nightmare on elm Street. You have to to love being the first to die. :P Capt Jack is the best however. He really put alot into the character.

I think my favorite would be Benny and Joon. The Buster Keaton stuff that he does is amazing and then the long hair spilling out on the sofa as Joon is creating the charcoal drawing of him. Gotta love Pirates and who can forget Cry Baby...one single solitary tear fairer
