Master2u32, I also apologize if sounding abrupt. I understand being new to the boards, (even though I see you posted on a thread on 4/7/2005, almost 2 months ago, so have been reading the posts awhile???)but the reason I reacted the way I did, is on the very same board you posted this thread, which I assumed you had read through to know how threads evolve and to post a message, you would have seen a current one about money slaves. I will echo GoddessDusty, I am not one that requires tribute, but, there are those that do, and as long as everything is up front and everyone is aware of individual requirements, it is up to both sides whether to proceed or not. I also get tribute from applicants many times when I meet with them, but it is never requested, and is in a form of a small thoughtful gift, that they took upon themselves to do(candy, flowers, a book we have been discussing perhaps) and it is greatly appreciated, but never required.

I'd understand getting tired of the complaining if it were the same person over and over, but if it's a NEW PERSON each time, that's something different. You can't blame a new user for not knowing what happened before he joined the site.

Edited to add: OK, I see that more was added to the thread while I was composing this.

Admittedly, W/we are all tired of this debate and this constant complaint/question/comment.

Not wanting to get into an argument with you, LAM, but, what about the thread going on this very moment on this very same forum????? Although it sounded cheeky, it actually wasn't meant to be on my original post. I just thought it would save us all the tediousness of going through it again, which is why I included links(since they were new to the boards and giving them the benefit of the doubt on not being able to use search) , so, since interested, they could have the benefits of all the thought provoking threads that concerned this topic.

Apology accepted. If you take a look at where I posted 2 months ago it was in the humor section. This is/was my first foray into in other forum.

Hopefully these links will state enough opinions to let you know how the different opinions are thought of....
