ORIGINAL: justMistress I will then most graciously drop off of this board. I have been playing for over 10 years and have yet to have any kind illness or injury to come to anyone of my slaves. Mock castration is just that a fantasy. Inflation with steril IV water and a dash of food coloring is delightful. You didn't mention the sterile water to start with, just the food coloring. Ever try taking a bacterial count on the stuff? It's organic, it's stored and shipped at room temperatures, and it's not suitable for intracompartmental injection. There are some injectable drug analogues I can think of that are of similar organic composition to food coloring which are shipped refrigerated in sealed vials and considered nonsterile/unusable after the first time the container is breached, even with a sterile needle. This is not to say that a breached vial of Propofol - or a bottle of food coloring - is always bacterially contaminated. It might not be. But there's a decent chance that there's some degree of bacterial growth there, and in the right (wrong) circumstances you can get pretty heavy overgrowth, with horrendous consequences on injection. Nobody here has a problem with edge play if it's done safely. "Safely" being defined as your antics not making headlines when you put somebody in the hospital. What two or more consenting adults want to do together, extreme medical play, body modification, whatever, that's fine. But injecting non sterile substances into the human bod is likely to cause consequences that can reflect on not just you, but everyone involved in BDSM, when your stunt makes the six o'clock news. Sterile and nontoxic injectable dyes are available from both human and veterinary medical supply. If you like pretty colors, use them. Injecting nonsterile substances, even intracompartmentally, is extremely irresponsible.
