knees2you -> Is The World Ready for Pres. Hillary?? (6/9/2005 12:54:00 AM)

Do You think the World is Ready for
President Hillary Clinton??

Is America Ready?? Would She be Assasinated??

What do You feel would be the Pros and Cons to Her
Winning an Election??

Sincerely, Ant

I don't like her. I do tend to run a little conservitive as far as politics goes, but it just feels like the whole Elizibeth Dole thing all over again "hey, it's a woman that's kind of electable for president! let's try it!" rather than "this person has lots of experince, and a good record, let's put them in office."

She has done pretty well as a senator (at least based on her approval rateings), but I really remain unconvinced she's ready to be president of the United States. I'm also pretty uncertain of her ability to draw voters who aren't registered democrats. Also on a more personal note, I'm really not a fan of family memembers of previous presidents getting elected (if the republicans run Jeb Bush in a few years, I'm seriously going to consider starting a coup). I don't like the idea of politcs being the family business. I really feel that what got Hillary elected the first time was the fact that she was the first lady, rather than her experince and merits. While she's done well for New York, well again I'm just not sure she's what we need for the nation.

Bleh, I just wish Powell would run, or maybe McCain.

I don't know about Hilary. I think she polarizes people too much to be a successful presidentiqal candidate.

Ya know, I'm a democrat through and through, but if it came down to Hilary vs. McCain, even I'd go McCain.

You're right about Hillary. She has very strong support and high approval ratings in certain quarters - enough she could get the Democratic nomination pretty easily. But almost as large a percentage of voters would pick a syphilitic pig over her. Nominating her would only assure another loss for the Democrats.

Of course, that seems to be their pattern...

I'll put the money up and into an escrow account, and give anyone here 15 to 1 odds that she'll never be the President.

I Hope Dick Morris keeps baiting her to run.

I'd rather see Elvira as our next President

Ooo! Now that would be fun! It would also keep up with your current revival of the "entertainer turned politician" theme!

I think she is a socialist, though she's been working pretty hard at hiding it lately... but most important, I don't think she's a good person.

smilezz -> RE: Is The World Ready for Pres. Hillary?? (6/9/2005 5:07:01 AM)

I would truly be shocked if it happened. Not just her, any woman actually.

ehhh, what do i know about politics? not much...so i will leave that fight for The Man to do.

Happy Thursday y'all!!

Geez, someone feels strongly about this, LOL...
I'm not crazy about her either; I don't think she would be elected because she has the wrong genitalia, plus she lacks something else (in my view)... M

True, would she behave as badly as any Bush has while they've been pmsing? Two bush's two wars so far.

Regardless whether it is Hilary or not...I don't believe the country is ready for any female president. Whether they would be good, bad or indifferent.

If she were PMSing and another country was pissing us off, she would crush the specific culprit's balls maybe?[:D] Not quite as bad as thousands of Americans dying in a war over an excuse that seems like mine is bigger than yours.. M

I think America is ready for a female president, but not Hillary.

suberic101 -> RE: Is The World Ready for Pres. Hillary?? (6/11/2005 2:39:15 AM)

America may be ready for a female president, but except for rare possibilities none of the women in politics seem like they stand out enough to graft the needed votes to win. Unless your Bill Clinton, it's gonna take some work to get elected anyways.

I agree. To take it one step further I don't think that women should be President....ever. As far as President's wives go....the only thing I want to hear from the wife of someone we elect President is their chocolate chip cookie recipe. We don't elect a President's wife, they are just part of the package.

DesertRat -> RE: Is The World Ready for Pres. Hillary?? (6/11/2005 5:17:32 AM)

I don't like her at all, but sometimes I think anyone would be better than George "Sieg Heil" Bush!!

I'm hoping Bill will run again.

Bob

suberic101 -> RE: Is The World Ready for Pres. Hillary?? (6/11/2005 8:27:39 AM)

I'm not defending Bush but simply asking the question, when has he "Sieg Heiled"? If I am not correct isn't he trying to swing amnesty for the undoctumented immigrants from our southern border? Very un-"Sieg Heilish" if you ask me...

That's because Catholics from Mexico don't like gays, generally, and will vote Republican on that issue. Plus, it helps keep big business happy.

You, me, and probably 50% of the world's population...
However, the constitution says he cannot run because he's already served the maximum allowed 2 terms of presidency. M
