WantU2BeHappy -> Phone Number Trick (6/23/2007 2:18:03 PM)

HERE IS A MATH TRICK SO UNBELIEVABLE THAT IT WILL STUMP YOU.

       1. GRAB A CALCULATOR NOT AN ADDING MACHINE. (YOU WON’T BE
       ABLE TO DO THIS ONE IN YOUR HEAD)

       2. KEY IN THE FIRST THREE DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER (NOT
       THE AREA CODE)

       3. MULTIPLY BY 80

       4. ADD 1

       5. MULTIPLY BY 250

       6. ADD THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER

       7. ADD THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER AGAIN.

       8. SUBTRACT 250

       9. DIVIDE NUMBER BY 2

       DO YOU RECOGNIZE THE ANSWER?

slaverosebeauty -> RE: Phone Number Trick (6/23/2007 9:28:30 PM)

It works.. I did it with my cell, home number and my mom's cell. Thats cool. I can't remember the 'logic' behind it though. I use to have to EXPLAIN why that worked. it took the fun out of it.

Thanks for sharing.

Ummm, but those of us who ALWAYS have to dial ten digits (even local calls), the area code IS the first three numbers of our phone number....LOL

Usako -> RE: Phone Number Trick (6/25/2007 5:33:34 AM)

It worked with my house number and my cell number, amusing.
