You know, if you liked House of Wax, there was a movie called Tourist Trap with Chuck Connors I think that a friend of mine owns. Basically a creepy old tourist attraction with lots of wax figures and lots of gory killing lol

IMO, House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils' Rejects were scary, but cheesy.  And oddly hilarious if you arent watching it in the dark[:D]

Zombie evolution... if they didn't evolve, we'd re-kill them all!

you want cheesy?...heres one...its one of Peter Jacksons first movies...he directed and starred in it...its called Bad Taste...talk about hilarious..a must see...check it out people

I love that film, I don't think I'll ever be able to live it down if I tricked my wife into watching it though.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned 'Waxworks' ... one of my favorites and soon to be Krissi's too I bet.

I've been vaguely curious about 'Sean of the Dead' ... we also ought to recommend 'Grindhouse.'

Another favorite is 'Carnival of Souls.'

Horror flicks, esp. cheesy ones, are my favorite genre of movies.  I could make a list of 1,000 but I won't[:)].  I would say the cream of the crop for me are some of the films by Herschell Gordon Lewis, esp. "The Gore Gore Girls."  It came out in 1972 and was the first horror film to gain an "X" rating.  I've seen tons of horror flicks with some gross scenes, but this has some that I've never seen duplicated (a deep-fried face, a woman "ironed" to death, BBQ forks through eyeballs, and the best - a woman bent over a table, panties taken down with said BBQ fork, and a wooden meat tenderizer (mallet) used on her bare buttocks until they look like hamburger[:'(].....cooooollll!

He also did "Blood Feast" and "Color Me Blood Red" and tons of others.  My second fave of his is "2000 Maniacs."  There are some great gory scenes in it (huge boulder dropped on someone as they're tied down, someone rolled down a hill in a barrel with huge nails protruding through it so they get impaled as they roll, a drawing and quartering)....ah, just stuff you don't see in everyday, run of the mill films[;)].  Check his films out at http://www.herschellgordonlewis.com/films.htm  Hope you'll dig 'em like I do............luci

Isn't this movie about a killer online journal that eats its way through a local town?

I loved Shaun of the Dead.  Howard the Duck had a few good scary moments while being very cheesy overall. Dracula 2000 is priceless for having Gerard Butler as Dracula.  Has anyone mentioned Army of Darkness yet?

angelslave77 -> RE: Recommend Me A Cheesey Horror Flick To Watch Tonite (6/30/2007 8:07:55 PM)

*puddles* at the thought of Gerard Butler  ahhhhh

I have always loved Dusk till Dawn, dont know if it passes as cheesy though
