I am a 46 year old male, just got out of a nine good year old disaster of a marriage. Newbe at least you are looking at it at 22. Great to see such an open mind in a young man. I am exploring my Dominant side as well. I spent a good time of my life in the military in one sort or another. I realize now the reason I was so disatisified in my relationship is that I have been dominant all my life, but hey my mother, sister, teachers, and of course corporate America crush any such feelings. I have come to realize this.
I just want to make sure that this "lifestyle" of submissiveness, and even slavery (although fairly ignorant of its scope I doubt would appeal to me at all) isn't somehow the cause of abuse either mentally or physically at some point in life. I am finding that it is not. But. . .this fear of mine may just be pressure from outside not to follow my true feelings.
I just know that a traditional relationship is over for me. It never was comfortable, nor had any hope of surviving a lifetime. Please feel free to flame away.
I have spoken to a few Sub women and Slaves. Would appreciate any guidance from Doms from anywhere in the country. Subs, and Slaves feel free to reply as well. I work graveyard tonight, and will check post tomorrow as well.
