I joined this website just for these forums.  I have been collared by the Man of my dreams and have no use for the 'match-making' side of Collarme, but I love peeking into the minds and lives of the other posters here.  I read all sorts of threads because I never know what idea is going to be the spark that sets my mind to thinking.  Even some of the tag lines I have seen here have flipped that switch in my head and the light bulb comes on.  As I have shared those thoughts with NChaka, I have grown in ways I could have never expected.  For that, I thank each of you.  You have shared your journeys and struggles in the hope that someone may benefit from the sharing and you have succeeded.  And yes, I have even benefited from the idiots... at least I can point to someone else and say, "I'm not THAT nuts!"    So I sincerely thank you all for your words of both wisdom and stupidity.  I have profited from them and that's pretty damned good for a free website! 

Almost all of us post here to either gain insight into our own path or to try to provide a sign post for others who are on a similar journey.  Most often and at best, we do both.  And all of our questions can be summed up into one mighty question... What is the path for my life?  It does not matter if we are male or female, kinky or vanilla, dominant or submissive, or what side of Loki's bridge we call home.  That is the question every person answers each day with each thought and action.  Each choice is either the path we should follow in that moment or it is not and only the individual finally makes that choice.

My path is to follow my Master; His path is to lead me.  LuckyAlbatross' path is to be the Collarme 'easy button', xBullx's path is to be Gorean, and Loki's path is to keep the bridge open.  Each is following the path that is right for each individual.  And in the end, that IS the only One True Way.

May each of you find the One True Way of your own.

Well said.  If I may, I would like to put in my two cents which is - Where your path is leading is not nearly important as being on a path.  In other words, the destination is secondary to the journey because it is from the journey that we learn.

Status: offline 		You overlook the fact that some of us know our path already and we're just here to make sure that others follow the same pah.  I mean, my path is both perfectly clear and perfectly perfect, so I see it my duty to make it known to others how woefully imperfect their paths are so that they may follow the one true path: mine.   heh heh... I'm as certain now about my path as I was at 18...  and though I haven't made a 180, I've definitely deviated.  Good call amiciaN, and good fortune finding yours.

Hello and hell no, LuckyAlbatross! 

I chose you, xBullx, and Loki off the top of my head as fairly recognizable posters that clearly have very different paths.  In my  opinion, you each have open minds while maintaining courage in your convictions (not an easy balance).

Besides, you are not an easy person to 'label'.  And 'easy button' is so much shorter and 'sexier' sounding than bi-poly-switch

Personally amiciaN, I don't see where you have said anything that would result in people bringing out the torches...

Seems to me that you have written a nice commentary on your master and the path(s) you two are on and have made observations about a few of the others on here that were complimentary rather than deliberate knocks.

Congrats on your ongoing happiness...I hope sincerely that it lasts for you.  I have to admit...I am glad Loki is the troll...phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!

Congratulations on finding your path. May it continue to serve you well and to lead you where you want to go. You wrote a very nice commentary on how we each find our own path.  If you are looking for input from others about the path they are on, i will say that, after being on my path for 51 years, i have, at different points along the way, looked back and seen that i have never been on a narrow path, there has always been plenty of room on it for others to join me and spend some time with me on it and then go another way, when a new turn in the path came along and when our individual paths were no longer merged together. i have many fond memories of the different people who have shared my path with me and allowed me to share their path, at various times, for various durations, and for various reasons.  The path i have been on has been long and winding and bumpy and crooked and twisting and turning and frightening and exciting and peaceful and playful and quiet and comforting and frustrating and fulfilling and interesting and truly unimaginable and unplanned and unexpected and unscripted and unforeseeable and ever-changing.  It has been seeded by my laughter and by my learning and watered by my tears and it has grown more meaningful every step i have taken on it and i wouldn't want it any other way. ____________
