Nope. The initial "p" is Spanish is unaspirated, so it can sound like a "b" to us. Hold your palm a couple of inches in front of your mouth and say something like "power." You'll feel a little puff of air when you articulate the "p." Okay, apparently no one ever saw Banderas in Almodóvar's "Matador"? The guy is from Spain. The word is "bendejo." The P version is also correct - these are translations to anything goes. American Latinos say it with a b sound. The Castilian accent, the accent of my people, is even worse to an American ear because it's very lispy - fag-like if you will. But it is oh so authentic!

No, it's with a p-, not with a b-, and the root meaning is "pubic hair." You can look it up in RAE (Diccionario de la Real Academia Española). If people say "aksed" instead of "asked" then it's in usage. Utility probably means more than anything. But whatever...
