Is this new one better than the cb2000? Anyone try the cb6000 yet?

Lucylastic -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (6/25/2007 12:40:31 PM)

According to the website, its only been out since the 22nd of this month, so it might take a while to get any feedback about it, should be interesting tho

I just took a look at it.  Unless you have trouble putting on the old ring the improvements in one are completely useless.

gregor2001us -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (6/25/2007 4:22:05 PM)

It looks like it should be easier to put on, and perhaps one would not have to be so soft...

chasteslave -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (6/26/2007 5:32:16 PM)

i've tried both the cb2000 and the cb3000.  Just looking at that one, it doesn't really look all that different.  i'm guessing that it won't be anymore secure than the previous models.

Good point, Lucy, the reviews are crucial. After all, who wants to be the one to try something that doesn't have any reviews..?  (Unless money is no object, in which case, I'll take two!)

Tenebrious -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (6/26/2007 8:55:08 PM)

Maybe it's just me, but that looks like it would actually be more difficult to put on, considering the mechanics involved...

What would really help is if they made one that didn't require something to be passed through the ring from the back when it was already in place.

Crush -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (6/28/2007 6:00:55 AM)

And it has no points of intrigue....

The "old" CB 2000 keeps me under Mrs. Crush's control Just Fine :)

subboy603 -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (6/28/2007 7:17:37 AM)

Interesting. There was a big flap on another board about it, but after six months of waiting without even a "coming soon" message from the CB 2K people, some of the readers (myself included) thought it was a hoax.

From the assembly animation, it looks like it was designed for people who had a lot of trouble with the old "cock ring" style rings. Believe me, they're about a third of the reason my 2k only spent a total of about a week out of its bag. Then when the Curve came out, people complained about the rings with the hinge at the bottom. So this is probably the result of several years' research and development, and I notice people are still complaining about the ring design, lol.

Edit: Oh, and they're also supposed to be fixing the problem some of the 3ks had with the cage splitting in half from time to time. The old ones were two-piece assembles that were fused (sonic welded?) together.

**rolls eyes** I don't think I will bother getting one.  saw a few other chastity devices that seem more user friendly. ;)

More friendly for the use-ee as well?  I've seen a few that look like they wouldn't be very comfortable to wear.  In fact, I was asked to make one of such devices for somebody a while ago.

It was an interesting design and a much more simple closure than the CBxk styles, but definitely not meant for daily wear...  :)

yeah, I saw one on the JT's Stockroom website, the 5 Gates of Hell, looks good. Also liked the Male Leather Chastity Device, (I think that is the name for it.)

johnwestly -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (7/1/2007 6:53:54 AM)

I like the leather penis pouch with the lining of small pin type tacks and the leather locking band from the Stockroom.

Any one wantoing to see the leather pouch in use contact me.

i have a new cb6000.i have been in it for three days.i was locked in a cb2000 before i got the cb6000

chasteslave -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (7/3/2007 5:31:14 AM)

How do you like it?  is it more secure than the others?

Termyn8or -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (7/3/2007 1:35:37 PM)

It appears he sold seven of them in eight days.

I took a good look at it and I think I'll pass. I don't think they have really fixed anything. It seems like you could have a 3000 and just get the new style ring. Maybe easier to put on, but that's about it, what's more it is probably less secure.

To explain that I'll tell you, I have the 3000 but it is an upgrade, so I got the solid A ring. Now let's say I use the stainless locking pin and an Abus (sp ?) lock. Where do you cut ? The ring would have to be cut in two places because it is solid. What they have now, or even the hinged ring is less secure.

No matter what you do with the CB X000 series of devices, they are not all that secure against pullout. I find it difficult to pull out, and impossible to get back in. The only real remedy for pullout is LIS's security belt. I intend to get one soon and use it with the stainless lock pin. Now where do you cut ?

Strangely this getup has an advantage over a full blown florentine because cutting the belt itself will not get you out. Almost as scary as the Chastitysteel design, which I consider to be very very good.

I intend to correspond with Jillian of LIS to work on a shackle guard for the locks. I also want mine to be custom. I want the drop front but not the drop back. The reasons for this preference are not important right now. But when I give those keys to someone, eventually my mind will be thinking a mile a minute to figure out how to get out. Think about it, where do you cut ? And with the belt in the way, it will be harder to cut the A ring, even in one place, let alone two places like mine will require.

Let's face it, anything can be cut. I got an angle grinder that could cut a car in half, but I'll be damned if I am going to try to use it on myself. So I need help, just who would I ask ? Even this would be a comedy if nothing went wrong. I would have to stand on something and put it in a vise or something. A mishap could result in a nasty gash, and a bunch of spilled blood. That is where the wearer starts thinking it is just not worth the risk.

That is the crux of the submission. That is where the risk of discovery is already overridden by desire, and even if you say "Fuck her, I am cutting this thing off", you still might not do it. Once you get the power tools out and have a good look at them, as well as where you will have to apply them, I would hope it would be too scary.

Until there are shackle guards of course you cut the locks off, it can be safely done with a Dremel. But with shackle guards the plot thickens. After my belt is designed that will be the next bug I put in Jillian's ear. With those modifications we are approacing world class security. And you should still be urinal compatible.

There goes another few hundred bucks, but I do intend to have it this year and probably wear it all winter. Watch me come in here with pictures and details asking for ideas on how to cut the thing off. I actually want that kind of desperation, I don't know quite how to explain that desire, oh well.

Until I find a Woman to do it, I got a keyholder. And we used to spar and workout together and I can't beat him physically, he taught me most of what I know about martial arts. He has never lost a fight in his life. In younger days I told him he should try out for pro football. He is kinky enough to know what is going on, and he knows about my device. Neither of us is gay in any way, but holding a key is not the same thing.

With this guy it would be "Hold on to this until 'date', no matter what don't give it to me". No matter what. My record is nine weeks locked, no out for any reason. Pain in the ass cleaning but that is too bad. You go through certain mental stages locked up. Myself, the first week or so I can't keep my hands off of it. Not that it does me any good. By the ninth week it is like a part of the body, I am completely used to it and then it actually feels as funny being unlocked. It is just as strange as that first week locked.

So I went from six weeks to nine weeks. How long is winter ?

Thing is at that ninth week I was no longer as frustrated, and I had destroyed the key and cut it off. I want to experience what happens later on down the road. I want the next stage.

So instead of the CB6000 I will get the belt. I will of course keep you "posted".

johnsteed2 -> RE: New Male Chastity Belt out - CB6000 (8/4/2007 11:12:50 AM)

Many people have dismissed the CB-6000 as being so similar to the CB-3000 and "not fixing any of the problems." I'm going to have to disagree here. I own a CB-3000 and can see that the subtle change they made is quite possibly a nice improvement. The animation on the CB-2000.com website was particularly illuminating.

Now, for those detractors who complain about it not being as secure as a metal device or complaining about the ability to "pull out" etc. -- I will agree that nothing has been addressed here. That's not the point of the CB-6000.

What they are addressing were design issues with the CB-2000 rings. These were a big point of failure. The CB-2000 rings are hinged -- two semi-circles that pivot apart around a rivet. Unfortunately, at the point of the rivet, by definition the thickness of the polycarbonate is 1/2 its thickness for the rest of the ring. So, to make those 1/2 thick areas stronger you have to make the entire ring thicker (and less comfortable). Well, even at the thinkness used in the CB-2000, I still have had the rings break at the pivot point. The thinner plastic around the rivet tends to get stress fractures. Probably doesn't help that after wearning the thing with no release for awhile, and of course being turned on by the chastity and control, I get horny (vicious cycle) and would often wake up at 3 or 4 am realizing I was "humping the bed" in my sleep -- and thus putting more stress on that weak piece of plastic.

There's no more rivet in the CB-6000. Now, where the pieces fit together, the plastic is still "1/2 as thick" but I suspect the new design distributes the forces better. Only real-world testing and reviews will tell. The rings themselves are thinner now, which theoretically should be more comfortable -- although I can't say the older thicker ones bothered me that much.

This design does completely eliminate the final piece of metal from the CB device. The small metal rivet is now completely gone. People have talked about going through airport security even with a metal padlock, so I doubt the rivet is an issue there -- but now there isn't even a rivet.

So, we wait for reviews from actual wearers, perferably from those who have previously worn a CB-2000. And, we wait even longer to see if the cracked plastic problem around the rivet is eliminated -- or simply moves to the new flanged areas in the CB-6000.
