What do you consider yourself sub/dom, slave, master etc?   I feel submissive by nature, once a Dom has captured my heart, then I feel slave, but only to him.
What is your approximate age?  53  (and i have the gray hairs to prove it)
Have you/are you going to school for a degree?   Graduated in 2000
If you went to school, what did/are you going for?  I have 2 degrees; Human Communications and Psychology with a Philosophy minor

I work full-time, and plan on going to school at some point.  It's probably going to have something to do with law.  I am not sure what part I am going to focus on, I don't like injustice, so it will probably have something to do with human rights.

I am 31 yrs old.

I am going to go against the grain here.  One or two of you might be surprised at part of the reply. 
 
I am a Dominant, always have been.
 
I am <choke> 38 years old.
 
I neither have a degree, nor do I have any plans of further education at this time.
 
I think the so called "trend" mentioned in the OP, isn't necessarily true.  Many people do not wish to expand on their lack of education.  If the readers have noticed, many who have a higher degree have been more than happy to post on the thread, while those of us with less education have remained rather shy about it.
 
It's always good to stand out in the crowd, and be proud of who you are.

Id say Im a sub...but more of a bottom in my current relationship, the whole marriage and kids thing changed alot of our dynamic.

I think the thread name has probably drawn most of us who actually have a degree, im going to venture to say that most people who dont have one, and dont have any plans on getting one, probably wont click on a link talking about degrees. I dont know if we can honestly say if we are getting a true sampling of the people on this site...or even that the people on this site are a true sampling of the entire BDSM community.

If the trend is that most people who are on this site with degrees with click on a link asking about degrees...then I guess we proved it true!

been stuck in the school of hard knocks all my life.....hope to graduate some day

i am constantly having to attend in depth training classes to keep up with all the federal regs related to my job....then when i learn them, they change[:)]oh and i go to school 191 days a year too-im an elementary school cafeteria manager.......im going cause..... damn the um's make me giggle
 
studying gives me a headache anyhow.......

Good point.  I couldn't agree more.  In order to get a relatively accurate sampling of the BDSM community (on the web), the questions need to be posted to more than just this one site (there are many, many more).  I also wonder what the "pattern" is that they seem to think exists within this lifestyle.......I see people involved in this lifestyle that are from very different backgrounds and education levels.  I agree with you that the people most likely to even look at this thread are likely to be college grads/students.
