Fargle this was on cable.  I don't exactly see how the "fairness doctrine" would apply here.  Ann Coulter is a bitch, and she knows it.  She deliberately makes outrageous, mean-spirited comments to stir up controversy and keep her name in the news.  Controversy and pettiness are her bread and butter.  I don't subscribe to her views, and I think she is a twit.  I make the choice to ignore her, and that is what Elizabeth Edwards should of done.  Edwards is not a stupid woman, and she knew she wasn't going to accomplish anything by calling in to talk to her.  I don't fall for the sweet, gentile southern wife routine.  I live in the South, and I see that routine all the time.  It is just as much of a show as what Ann Coulter does.

First Matthews blind siding Coulter was unprofessional.. Nothing new there.

Second Edwards wife, calling in to ask for Coulter to stop doing what Coulter does. It's like asking a cobra not to bite you. What's the point, other than to try to get some sympathy.  The woman would have to be brain dead to think Coulter would go "Oh, I'll stop, because you asked". LOL. Stupid...

Third: Coulter is just wrong because she attacks people personally, but that is why these networks have her on, to begin with.

One big clusterfuck of Stupid....

I do not require an extensive hair cut, it takes about 10 minutes.

Without a wash and blow dry, it costs me 80 bucks and I do not go to an exclusive salon nor am I rich (hence my occasional split end).  The fact of the matter is, I work with and for the poor and do pay 80 bucks to occasionally cut my hair.  I have earned every one of those eighty bucks and that I choose to spend that 80 bucks that way does not mitigate anything that I do or choose to give to those who have less than me, for what ever reasons.

Fuck off with the hair cut business.  Edwards, who is not my favorite candidate btw, came from a very poor family and earned his way to where he is now.... how many other Senators or elected officials can say the same?

Great point, NeedToUseYou.  Coulter is incapable of speaking in an educated, intellectual manner on any of the issues she carps about.  In lieu of anything knowledgable to say, she makes vicious, petty, childish personal attacks on people, their families, etc.  I loved how she tried to squirm out of giving a reason for noting that Hillary Clinton has chubby legs.  Saying things like that is a perfect example of how she operates - at the lowest common denominator. 

That would be like me describing her as a "sickly looking, powder white grim reaper in a black cocktail dress".  Or "an anorexic, bitter old maid who carps about everyone else because she has no life of her own".  Or "a sucking syncophant who whores after the spotlight."  You know - personal attacks against her and her appearance - rather than pointing out her flaws in reasoning.  If she wasn't so purposely obnoxious and extreme, she would be a Paris Hilton type as the OP said.  Poor Paris is just a stupid little rich girl.  Ann doesn't have such money and she is aging fast so she goes the extreme route of just being a screeching harpie to get her attention.  Guess we all have to do what we have to do..........luci

Ann Coulter is not a candidate running for political office. And she can say anything she wants and if people want to buy her books and read her columns, that is their free choice.

I dont really have a horse in this race. I don't agree with Coulter most of the time. But it would also be an extremely cold day in hell before I vote for John Edwards who I do agree made his fortune corrupting our justice system. It is people like him that give attorneys a bad name.


And it's people like Ann Coulter that give human beings a bad name.

It is her family that has been attacked and she has every right to call Coulter on her behavior.

I didn't hear any oppositon to that comment. And you obviously didn't get the obvious linking of her statement to his. She obviously didn't speak slowly enough.

People don't like Edwards much but got upset over Coulter's comment, yet no one got upset over Marr's comment concerning Cheney. Seems to show that no one likes Cheney. (Not even his wife or daughter cared enough to call Marr on it.)

I don't hate someone who has lots of money but I do questions the ethics
