My Sir has commented on many occasions on how wonderful he thinks it would be to see me bound with a ball gag in my mouth. Unfortunately, I was born with an incredibly small mouth (so much so that I spent almost all of my childhood in appliances of one form or another, have had several teeth removed and rearranged, and my jaw broken repeatedly for 4 years to make room for everything), and when you add in some other muscle factors (yay for being a classical musician), the ball gag from his collection does not fit in my mouth, and it is rather small to begin with. I've not been able to find a ball gag of a suitable size, and I would like to surprise him sometime in the future by adding one to my personal toy collection. Would anyone have any suggestions?

Make your own! Find a rubber ball that you know you can handle, drill through it, and run a leather strap through the hole. Presto. If you're really craftsy, you can add a buckle to the strap.

Experiment with small balls of various sizes till you find one that fits your mouth, so you can measure it. Then ask a custom leather worker to make one to the specified dimensions. We have made our own dribble gags from plastic golf practice balls by attaching elastic but they might be too big for you. Have you thought of using a "bit" gag, or does it have to be a ball gag? Bit gags are used in pony play and go across the mouth rather than in it. :)) LH

Smallest I have seen offered for sale are the ones made from whiffle-type practice golf balls, I believe that is about 1-1/4" diameter. If that is too large, you are going to have to make something. Finding suitable balls to make into gags is a real problem, most are too large, have a horrid chemical taste, or are fragile when bitten down on. That last is a common problem with the bouncy balls found in the toy dept, they disintegrate into small pieces when bitten and would pose a serious choking hazard. The whiffle balls are very cheap, and very easy to make into gags. Just thread a bit of cord through the holes, and tie around the head. They are great for most bottoms with small mouths, and don't interfere with breathing. They also do little to muffle sound.

I've already brought up bit gags as a suggestion...but Sir is an horseman. In his mind, animals are have jobs. I am his miss, and my place is not amongst his animals. He wants to look at me and see his sub, not an animal. He is certainly wanting a solid ball gag. Muffling the noise is much of the appeal, aside from visual aesthetics.

Try Flashington's ball gags (http://www.flashington.com/) - he's got some pretty small ones (1 1/2"), and they are strong and do not have a funny taste at all. You can actually take the balls off the strap and put the balls in the dishwasher, or boil them, if you want to sterilize them and get all that heavy-duty long-wearing lipstick off them!

As an alternative to a ball gag, rope could be used as the ball. A monkey's fist knot tied around a leather strap would make a nice gag which would be easy on the teeth, gums, and buccal cavity. Rope folded back on itself can make a find gag without the leather strap, and comes easily undone when not in service. Rope bondage books demonstrate how to tie this knot, and its uses.

If you must buy a ball to make your own try a pet supply store those balls are meant to be bitten so will not splinter easy. Beware of the flavored ones. LOL A cat ball with a bell inside already has one hole, just drill a match hole and string on a small leather belt.

Some of the smallest ones i've seen are the soft ones featured on www.sub-shop.com I was actually looking at getting one myself because I have tmj.

i took 20 to 30 minutes last night and figured out how to make a monkey's fist knot and it works great for me as a gag....i have jaw problems and breathing problems and the one i made is small enough that my jaw doesn't pop when i put it in and big enough i can't talk around it....with the various surfaces of the knot, you can put a wider piece in your mouth and have your teeth around a narrower section, and i can pull my lips back and breathe around the gag without moving my teeth....if you needed or wanted one bigger or smaller all you have to do is use a different sized rope....i just left the ends long at this point to be tied around my head...oh and i used soft twisted nylon rope...

Sireninchains is right.You can get small ball gags at thesub-shop.com. I bought a few there and they work just fine for women.
