fencerpet19 -> Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (6/12/2005 2:40:31 AM)

Okay, two questions: 1) well I'm officially signed up for a Brazillain wax next Wednesday and I'm getting a bit nervous because I've never gotten one before. I can take pain (to some extent)... but it's usually in a sexual setting and my Master is the one dishing it out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the experience easier or less painful/embarrassing for me?

2) I'm leaving a little patch in the front which my Master is going to shave into some cute little design the following Monday, and we got to thinking about coloring it. Does anyone have any experience using dye to add some flare down there? I've heard some pretty bad things about doing it the wrong way or having a bad reaction to the dye... any comments/tips/thoughts are welcome [:)]

Just breathe and follow the direction of your waxer. It hurts for an instant then it's over. You'll be fine.

Unless it's a dye you've used before, just as when you're dying the heair on your head, you should to a patch test to make sure yiou aren't overly sensitive to the chemicals in the dye. Keep in mind that unless you have very light hair, you may need to bleach first to get the effect your master is looking for.

good luck on this, fencerpet! i don't have experience with waxing there, but i really have been wondering about it. so far, all i wax is my lip and eyebrows. *lol* i am intrigued by it, but uncomfortable enough with my weight to not want to go there, yet. and i am with you on the pain... i hope it is not too much.

will you please be so kind as to post and let some of us know how it goes? and also, how long it lasts the first time? i use nair, and the stubble (to me) is tangible in only a couple of days.

once again, good luck!

Brazilian wax and pain management

Synocense -> RE: Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (6/12/2005 10:31:22 AM)

hehe, yes, pleeeease let us know how it goes. Also, as a side note, I am willing to bet the potential pain associated with this wax and the type of pain your Master inflicts are two different things. If your Master gave you toothache, I dont suspect it would be anymore pleasant then if you got one from eating too many sweets. *grins* I'm sure you get my point. Good luck!!

haha I'll definitely let you all know how it goes [:D] I've tried waxing on my own before, but that's impossible. Just too odd an angle lol. Wish me luck!

NomiJade -> RE: Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (6/13/2005 9:56:20 AM)

I get fairly regular Brazillian all-off waxes. Here's my two cents.

It hurts, but not so awfully. It will be a little tender and red for the next day or so, remember to apply lotion frequently. Also rember if you get your wax done shortly before or durring your period it will hurt SO MUCH MORE. And not in a pleasant way. My first Brazillian wax was a cold sugar wax, and frankly I would never do that again! Hurst so much more, does a worse job. Now I have found a great place that does hot wax, and while the hot wax itself has a mildly sharp tingle when applied, I kind of like it. I've found that relaxing, closing my eyes, and breathing deeply all make it easier. And I think the results are worth it, but you'll have to see for yourself. Regrowth will be itchy, it's just like puberty all over again.

That reminds me, I need to schedule my next wax!

fencerpet19 -> *update* (6/15/2005 1:32:50 PM)

*UPDATE* okay so some of you all wanted to hear how the Brazillian wax went... well I just got back from the salon about an hour ago and yes it is a bit sensitive, but overall it was nowhere near as painful as I thought it would be. Most of the punishments I've received hurt far worse than a wax job (but then you do have to take into account the fact that my Master is the one causing the pain, not some random woman at a spa... so there is a bit of a difference). It was much more bearable thinking about how I got the wax for Him though. I'd say after the first few minutes you start to go numb to the pain and it doesn't hurt as much... I even got into a conversation with the woman about physics WHILE getting it done! Looking back on it it was quite amusing... something like:
"So the main goal of physics *rip* is to unite the theories of quantum mechanics *rip* and Einstein's theory of general relativity *rip* .... oh yes that looks nice... maybe a bit more on that side... both of which describe the observed univserse *rip* but don't work together in cases such as black holes *rip* or the theorized big bang singularity... oh yes that's perfect. How do you want me to hold it? Oh okay... so anyway..."

It was all quite casual lol, and I'm glad I got it done! I can't wait for next Monday when Sir goes and shaves the little patch I left into something cute! Have a good one!

pandoravampire -> RE: *update* (6/15/2005 4:56:17 PM)

having had mine done for years, i can tell you that a good rule of thumb is ask the waxer if she can do it in 30 mins, if she says no, then she's not experienced and your better off going elsewhere. Pain depends on the waxers skills.
If she's not afraid to touch you, so that she can hold the skin taught, to reduce pain that helps. In my experience, if they wear gloves, they dont like touching you, so your gonna suffer.
Never on or just before a period.
And for the wimps amoungst us, take two Ibuprofen an hour before the wax.

RumpusParable -> RE: Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (9/13/2007 2:40:12 PM)

1)  For the most part it's truly not that bad.  I didn't even feel parts of mine, honestly.  Some parts made me flinch, but they weren't at all the majority... just a few extra sensitive areas got me.  You'll be okay, we tend to think it's much worse than it ends up being. :)

2)  As another said, patch test just like you would if you were doing the hair on your head.  Since you're doing hair in the front (I'm assuming on or above the mons) rather than down and around the vulva itself, it really isn't any different than doing your head.  Just be careful not to drip onto sensitive parts (if really nervous that first try, get strand cotton to line your sensitive areas so that any drips are caught).

I've bleached and dyed my pubic hair a number of times (I like unnatural colors, to match my head hair).  It's really quite easy... and at least when doing your pubic hair yourself you don't have to use a mirror to do the back like on your head haha.

Edited to add:  While the BettyBeauty product seems fun, it's really overpriced for what you get  and are doing.  Go to your local Sally's Beauty Supply or similar and you can get the supplies you need for much cheaper and larger amounts (for upkeep, if you want).

Edited again to add:   Oops!  Missed that you already got it waxed!  Congrats on it and see, not so terrible haha. :)

hardbodysub -> RE: Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (9/13/2007 7:54:11 PM)

I once had a full body wax, and I mean everything except the hair on my head. It was no big deal, even on the private parts. A little rip, a little sting, it's over in a few seconds. It seems to me that there are a lot of people who have never experienced REAL pain in their lives, the way they carry on about something as insignificant as this.

devotedsylph -> RE: Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (9/13/2007 8:36:17 PM)

I got one last year in order to get a landing strip shaped (I maintain it all by shaving now).  It wasn't too bad, but I DID get swollen and really tender for a few hours after.

It helps to take a hot shower beforehand.  It opens your pores.

As far as dying the hair down there, be careful!! Girly bits are sensitive to changes in ph balance and can cause revolts when it gets unbalanced.

Simply,
sylph

taintedgypsy -> RE: Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (9/13/2007 9:47:39 PM)

lol it is ok and it is posible to do it yourself ... and Sir never seemed bothered by helping in those hard to reach places ... He even smiled at the oh so sensitive area I could not quite reach ... eeek made some coment about never having seen wax play in quite that way lol.

Tip ... I stopped waxing cause it is winter and there is no man in my life so I just went ferral, and just kept the actual bekini line in shape. Nerver and I mean Never presume you are going to keep your clothes on at a play party and go there feral. The barbs and cracks and comments on a "furry sub" sting and make you wish you had had that waxing done before you went ... sigh

speak for yourself, dear.  i have chronic pain every single day, and i cant stand the pain of having my hairs yanked out.  it sends me to the bad place of pain + sensory overwhem, and that quite often lands me smack-dab into seizure territory.  not a good place.  this is my reality....not saying that you didnt have a bearable experience, just saying that my reality is different than yours.

kitten, whose nerve pain in the skin is bad enough that clothing is torture in some places on most days, and touching is out of the question.

mmb1 -> RE: Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (9/14/2007 5:17:49 AM)

Dying your hair there is dangerous!!!!!!   I have seen many cases working in a dermatology office, and they are not pleasant looking, the damage that can happen extrnally and internally. Leave it the color it is, am sure it is nice :) :) smiles

hmm not impossible to do on your own.  i do it all the time. try some stretches to get good and limber [:D]

madameflame25 -> RE: Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (9/14/2007 4:03:58 PM)

Always trim before waxing!!! I think that's the best thing, if the hair is slightly shorter it lessens the ouch factor, being a red-head and having sensitive skin, I learnt this and quick!!!

whiteslavebitch -> RE: Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (9/14/2007 8:30:02 PM)

I did the full body waxing once, i think in January.

It hurt like hell, and not in a good way, which I could
tolerate if the effect was longer lasting. I'll stick with
shaving.
