The 'vanilla' title under your name simply indicates that you haven't posted many messages in Collarme's forums. Currently you have two posts - on your 26th post, you will be re-titled as "curious".
Now, as far as your profile... please remember that the webpage for the message boards, and the webpage for the personals are separate. Each one has its own profile.
Are you sure that you filled out a profile in the personals area? It would have asked you about your interests, allowed you to upload some photos, create a journal, describe yourself etc. The passwords for the two sides of Collarme do not have to be the same, nor do people have to be registered on both sides.
(Oddly, the message board side often logs me out but the personals side never does)
