Early June. Summer time. My enjoyment of a season depends upon my location though, I've found. I hate Texas weather. Summer is hell on earth and 'winter' is laughable. But when I move up north, I'm sure I'll appreciate and enjoy every season. Summer brings warm weather, sunny days, and lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Fall brings a crispness to the air and coolness (unless you live in hell like I do). Evening comes sooner. On some days you can see your breath in the air before your face. Holidays come. Harvest time provides many tasty things like apples, nuts, and squashes. Leaves turn colors. Winter brings the cold, and with it (if you're lucky) snow and ice. These provide beauty, the chance to follow tracks in the snow, and all kinds of winter sports. The cold makes a crackling fire in the fireplace a beautiful thing. Hot food tastes so much better. Soft sweaters, cozy blankets. Spring comes along when you've had enough winter. It brings gradual warmth and the splashes of color called flowers. Wildlife gets frisky so that the summer young ones appear on-time. Your cats and dogs start shedding EVERYWHERE in order to be cooler for the coming summer. zuma
