So I know many of you here don't agree with online things as a serious thing that can be done, with or without meeting up. But how many of you Roleplay online for fun?

I personaly do enjoy going to the chats here to rp a bit, and I've run a particular group on an online text based game called Furcadia for years. Im Skadowee there. And I just adore slavery rps, for fun, dispite being a Mistress irl too.

What are your feelings on slavery rp for fun, not always about serious business.

I personaly enjoy it so I can guage how well I'd like to play out a fantasy by playing it in rp sometimes first, guaging talking and humiliation on that fantasy level, to see how it teases another, dispite all being text. And please if Im going to here "oh your a cyber kinda mistress" please save it, Im serious with my slaves irl, but that dosn't mean I can't enjoy myself in a fantasy based way too here on the internet. <3

Sometimes RP works for me, sometimes it doesn't really depends on my mood.  In general I like the idea because it exercises your mind, (the more you exercise it, the more your mind comes up with evil ideas.) heheheehe

I'll roleplay on occasion. But I'm quite selective about who I'll roleplay with. I opt to play via Yahoo Messenger, and have a small but excellent group of people that I roleplay with on an individual basis from time to time. It's not always BDSM themed, however. And rather than consider it cybering I just think of it as a sort of co-authoring of a tale, as sex and/or sexual situations do not always enter the picture.

For the most part, I don't do the online play.  I figure, if I'm going to expend the energy, why not just have the real thing?

I do a weekly online roleplay, but it has nothing to do with kink - it's a text-based interactive storytelling/gaming session that is currently set in the Firefly/Serenity universe.  Last campaign was Call of Cthulhu, and the next one scheduled is Victorian steampunk, tech and sorcery level similar to "His Dark Materials" trilogy. 

Now I used to do a bit of kinky text based roleplaying now and then, but frankly none of it was up to the level of intelligence, creativity and just plain good writing/roleplaying that I get every week in the online gaming group.  So I quit bothering, and focus all my creative online energies on the weekly storytelling game which is much more fun than badly typed messages from random horny strangers.  Occasionally the characters do get into, ahem, risque or adult situations, and that can be a lot of fun.

I used to do a lot of text based role playing. The system we used was free form, though much of it was AD&D based or White Wolf. My personal favorite was the Drow games based on the Salvatore books. Most of the games were without sex because we had some underage players on the forum. But we did have an adult section in which I ran a house of ill repute. [:D] It was a lot of fun and I sometimes miss it.

I love text-based rp.  There are some things that simply can't be done in the real world, but in a fictional setting, the sky's the limit.  Shangrila MUSH is a pretty decent adult-oriented MUD.

I do terribly in RPs.

At some point or another, no matter the context, I just have to say "banana".

It never works out right.
