Hmm, the ability to read.. which until they open your profile, they have nothing to read. Get over it Mikey. They dont see that you have issues with men until they actually open your profile to read it. At that point, they have registered on your list of "viewed". They might think you are aboslutely revolting, and they have still viewed you.
**Edited to add that if you are going to write a long profile, the only way to read the entire thing is to click and view the full profile to do so. Yours says nothing abot being completely anti-male in the part that shows without opening the profile. You state you are straight... but thats it. Just thought youd know, if you really want to make ti glaringly obvious, say it higher up. Not down wher ethey dont see it until tey ahve already opened your profile.**

I could bitch about having mainly dominant males reading mine, but whats the use? They are just looking at it, they arent messaging me. If you dont want to be looked at, then take down your profile. Or , change your looking for options. If you have friends only listedn, friends come in both flavors...

It's nice to see the list of names of who's viewed me, but we all know it means nothing. We all view people. It's those letters that mean something and those face to face meetings that mean the most.

You do have to be signed in to view a profile but, you don't have to be signed in as a member and you don't have to be signed in as yourself. You can sign in as a "Guest", and use any name you want. This is a public site and your profile is available for anyone to see. Guests don't show up on the "Who's Viewing Me" list.

The Who's Viewing Me feature is kind of a fun feature, but it's really meaningless. I look at people's profiles and journals (regardless of gender) all the time, and have no intention of ever contacting them or meeting them. I do keep an open mind for online friendship, if we can learn something from one another, or have something to share with one another. If they were interesting and local, I would keep an open mind to meet up over a friendly chat over coffee. Never can have enough friends, if everyone is sane, myself included. I doubt people that view my profile are all looking to hook up with me. I bet some people just wonder what the heck is up with me....if they even wonder about me. Though I assume many do not wonder either..lol. And that is fine too.

I thought you could also just not click the view full profile button, and still read and not be seen? You just wouldn't be able to access any other pages of that person's journal....or maybe I am mistaken. If you can still be seen, boy is my face red. I have reclicked on some profiles a lot. Sheesh and honestly am not a perv! At least not in that way anyway.
