Good evening,well things have slowed down enough that Diane baked my BD cake tonight a month late but made up for it with some delicious loving smile...chocolate with chocklate icing sugar free of course..smile

JFK i wasnt alive yet.. but i was at school when the towers fell.. 7th grade... what class idk but we watched the tv in math.. thats the first time i heard about it... y does everything bad happen in math class?? *lifts my mug of tea* to the fallen men and women

i was in PE when it started .and i had citizenship after so i got to see what happened.  i do remeber walking to citizenship and the principal was on the intercom telling everyone not to worry. i had no clue what was going on. it was a very confusing day for me.

I was at work when the event happened. Because of the scattering of the four targets across the country, and with rampant rumors of others, we were sent home to be with our families.

The really eerie thing that happened over the following three days was the eerie silence that took place in the skies. I lived in the flight path of Tampa International Airport, and for three days there were no planes. The only sounds from the sky were those of the hawks and the eagles...

My mom can tell me where she was for JFK. She was in elementary school and they were sent home early.
For 9/11 I was sleeping and my alarm went off and all that was on was coverage of what had happened. I got up and turned on the TV in time to watch the second plane fly into the tower. I cried and had goose bumps. I still do if I think about it too hard. I have trouble watching shows about it. I watched one on the firehouse that had so many inside when the towers collapsed and just cried. I think it was Engine Company 54, Ladder 4, Battalion 9. We are not having any memeorials or anything where I live today, so I am remembering everyone in my heart and praying for their families.

Personally, I think we should all be telling those we care about and love our feelings every day. But, today's a good day to start if you're not already doing that. If anything is learned, it should be how precious this life is, how short it is, and that we should be making each and every moment we have count for something in our hearts.

i woke up to hearing it on the alarm radio...i thought it was a sick joke...took a shower...when i got out they were still talking about it...i turned on the tv...watched for a few minutes but i had to go to school...when i got to school...there was no one there...i cried my eyes out today when i got within sight of the school and there were cars in the parking lot...thankful it was hard to find a parking space...

i don't know about anybody else's beliefs but this goes along with mine....they say we should cry when a baby is born and celibrate when a person dies, because when that baby is born they are seperated from God and when they die they are reunited with God...for those that died as a result of those fucked up people on that rude awakening 6 years ago, i rejoice, they are with God...for the friends and family left behind, i am saddened, i am enraged, i mourn with them...

i was terrorfied, i am terrorfied..but i keep going, i keep moving forward, i keep acting "normal"...i haven't forgotten and i will not forget. they will not win...

PS...offence intended if you so choose to own it...but enough with the God Bless America bullshit...God did not sign an endorsement contract with America...God blesses all people...the best prayer for me to pray for someone who feels ill will towards me is that they get everything, spiritually, that i want...cause if they do...its all good...and they will have peace in their hearts..
