Raechard -> Excessive nostril hair on women. (7/1/2007 12:49:17 PM)

I'm not in favour of it myself....

Define excessive. Are we talking about needing a curling iron?

Raechard -> RE: Excessive nostril hair on women. (7/1/2007 12:52:40 PM)

I'd have to know what a curling iron was to answer that. I also forgot to add the voting options so we can see a nice bar chart of results.

I have never seen nostril hair in a woman.
I am thankful for that one.

Yes, all for it!

Just not on mine.

i am one of those unfortunate women with excessive facial hair...i am constantly fighting it...if there was a way that i could dip my face in something to permanently remove it, i would do that...i think there should be a way to get funding for research into that...of course, whatever it would be would leave my eyebrows perfectly shaped.....

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: Excessive nostril hair on women. (7/1/2007 1:08:02 PM)

i have facial hair too under the chin but nostril hair on women - never knew.

charmdpetKeira -> RE: Excessive nostril hair on women. (7/1/2007 1:26:17 PM)

Personally I do not have excessive nostril hair, but any little stragglers poking out are too many. I pluck them and my eyebrows; both hurt a lot, but well worth the results. Why would I want someone distracted by nose hair, when they should be looking at my.... captivating eyes... so I've been told?

Of course I don’t find looking at a jungle of hair emerging from anyone’s nose, female or male to be attractive, and it has been my experience that more males are guilty of said crime.

Do you think it bothers those who do have excessive nostril hair, to see it on others? [8|]

Sincerely,

k

Raechard -> RE: Excessive nostril hair on women. (7/1/2007 1:28:54 PM)

I've tried plucking them but it really is far too painfull. So I'm looking for one of those things you shove up your nose that cuts them.

charmdpetKeira -> RE: Excessive nostril hair on women. (7/1/2007 1:46:03 PM)

Ah yes, Braun (sp) makes them; i believe. But really.. it only hurts for a few seconds.... lol ;)

i can't speak for everyone who has a fur coat in their nose, but it does bother me when i see it on others...i'm blaming my Norwegian hair-itage...all those cold winters must have caused us to evolve with the excessive nostril hair to keep our lungs from freezing, don'tcha think?

Aileen68 -> RE: Excessive nostril hair on women. (7/1/2007 1:52:47 PM)

I've heard that plucking nostil hairs leads to deadly infections.
I must go check snopes on that.
I'm pretty sure that Sharper Image sells those rotary nose/ear clippers.

I had a male friend of mine tell me that Braun thing worked like a fork in spagetti... it felt like it grabbed/twirled & pulled out hairs rather than trim/cut.

Could very well be; makes me want to ask the guy at the full service garage, what his blood line is, just to see. Lol His is really bad, I have a hard time even looking at him.. stuff hanging and all. [:'(] Really nice guy though.[;)]

I prefer waxing...

the chin hairs.
No nostril hairs.

Raechard -> RE: Excessive nostril hair on women. (7/1/2007 2:00:52 PM)

See I knew plucking was deadly, the last thing anyone want is nostril gangrene. The other good reason for keeping the hair is that it acts a a natural pollen filter I'm told. We can find a correlation between the usage of Braun clippers and the rise in hay fever.
