i ask of him that he be patient and kind with the world around him, that he be
attentive also of a world which might enter with dark intent, i enter his life every
day with unconditional love that would uplift us to one another, and so, so, so
much more that i could go on for days. He is only seventeen, and there are many,
many roads, paths and horizons we have yet to travel, i can hardly wait for each.

Yes, i helped create him. Then i held the miracle in my hands and said to myself,
it is the beginning of beginnings, and my heart swelled and hasn't ceased being
fulfilled to this day.

And here i am simply trim and toned. What was i thinking?

This is absolutely beautiful. If more men (and some mothers) did this with their children, the world would be a much better place. I have always felt that Fathers need a much larger role in their childrens lives, I know mine did and I have cherished that.

Womens role in procreation is far more taxing and complicated than the male in all stages of reproduction. His role doesnt involve much physical or metabolic taxation beyond that of the sex act in delivering sperm to the vagina. However, for the female, her system plays a critical part from fertilization until long after the birth of offspring. It produces ova, or eggs, receives sperm from the penis, houses and provides nutrients to the developing zygote (fertilized egg) and later the embryo and
fetus, gives birth to offspring, and feeds those offspring after birth.

Mind you, that women are the prerequisite to the survial of the species, there are men, however far few and inbetween, that can take care of a baby just as good as a woman even though most women generally have a lot more interest in babies than men and are born with a more innate interest in nurturing because of the higher estrogen and because of having lots more neural receptors for oxytocin, which is a nurturing hormone. And as a result, they are drawn to babies in a way men aren't. If you have more testosterone--a high testosterone woman, they would be less interested in babies. Christ, I can attest to my very own brother.
