Hey, save your money.  Get a job at a slaughtering house and see how long you keep your appetite for meat

Actually im an avid hunter, and my grandfather tought me when I was very young that you have to clean and eat anything you kill, so ive been butchering, gutting, cleaning, cooking, and eating meat for a long time, and never has it deminished my appetite. In fact Id say it has increased it, there is nothing better that fresh meat. So much more flavor than the packaged stuff in the supermarket.

Hehe back in vegas there was a PETA rally outside of a KFC , big surprise there, anyways i went in side with my friends and we ordered a shit load of chicken walked out. and sat right down in front of them eating. Veins and eyes buldging everywhere it was fucking hilarious especially since they couldn't do anything but bitch. We made a big deal about it sayign how good it was and that maybe we'd get burgers next etc. one friend was so bold as the wave a chicken bone in the face of one of the protesters, you could tell he wanted to beat the heck out of my friend for that

Now that was REAL mature.  Did it change anything... did they see the error of their thinking?  How old were you guys when you did this?

Though I'm not a hunter, I come from a long line of them.  Hundreds of deer have passed through our freezers and cooking pans and then through our teeth[;)].  There is nothing better than fresh deer tenderloin.  Slice it out of the deer, slice it up for frying, sprinkle on some garlic salt and onion flakes and mmmm, mmmm, good!  It's so lean and not a speck of the injected hormones you'll get with store-bought meats.  Nature's bounty and highly recommended eatin'................luci

Hey i never said it was MATURE. Personally when they are out there trying to ruin a busines and runnign aroudn in sweaty cow costume covered in red paint that seems oh so much more mature than what we did. We were various ages from 16-18 and it was a half day from school. Do i feel bad for what we did? Nope and i would do it again you want to know why? Right to free peaceable assembly. Last time i checked there was no law against protesting a protest. As I said they are entitled to not eat any living breathing creature on this planet, but they DO NOT have the right to harrass people as they go to buy meat and guilt them into thinking liek they do

CrimsonMoan -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/3/2007 9:15:59 AM)

And as for workign in a slaughter house, they are still aroudn and people are still eating meat, even the ones who work there. Now unlike Ghaita I don't hunt but i have cleaned more than my fair share of catfish and all it made me change in thinking was fuck this is will go to the store next time. I've helped clean a deer that later went on the grill.

A cow could come up and talk to me this very day, woudl that stop me from eating that burger that slab of rare steak on my plate? Not in the least.

instynctive -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/3/2007 9:17:41 AM)

Hey Crimson... are you available for adoption? ;-)

CrimsonMoan -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/3/2007 9:24:34 AM)

Hehe trust me you don't want me. Even if I can cook for an army of people like nothing. I am hard headed stubborn and bad at taking orders when i am supposed to. My old Domme and god forbid she ever see the word old used in reference to her told me often that it was a good thing she loved me liek she did otherwise my ass would be red adn raw 24/7
Hmm i wonder if i can make the guys eyes water from all the way down stairs with my fajitas

GhitaAmati -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/3/2007 9:25:15 AM)

I own cows, I love them, we even name them...normally people names, our current bull is named fred. I love watching the horror in people's eyes when they are over at our house and open the freezer to get ice for a drink and there are all these paper wrapped packages with names written on them in oil pencil "sally" "lucy" "tina" "george".

just because im a submissive doesnt mean I cant be sadistic in my own way.

popeye1250 -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/3/2007 9:30:28 AM)

Everytime I watch one of those "Nature" shows where they show Lions tearing the shit out of Zebras I always get hungry for a steak or a burger.

CrimsonMoan -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/3/2007 9:31:12 AM)

*claps* now see I thought I was twisted someday but you take the cake and run with it Ghaita. Then again i did the same this to a friend when she asked what kind of meat was in this stir fry one day and i said Bambi. She looked down at the plate them me, shrugged and then went back to eating. Told her it could have been worse. If we had been at my great aunt's in magnolia, ak mystery meat is usally coon, possum or an armadillo, maybe even gator.

Other than your standards deer, buffal and rabbit are about as wild as I go. In vegas there this huge pig far near the far east end of things. You can go out there pick a pig and watch them slaughter it right then and there. Got to admit, some of the best pork ribs ever. Fresh never frozen

There is nothing "sadistic" about eating healthy.

We raised pigs during my youth... one a year.. and every last one of them was named "Wilbur", which is exactly what was scrawled on the packages we'd pick up at the slaughterhouse: "Wilbur Tenderloin" "Wilbur Chops", etc.  "Wilbur Sausage" was ALWAYS a treat.

Slaughterhouses aren't nearly as horrifying as anti-meat propaganda makes them out to be.  Granted there are exceptions to the rule, but they have strict guidelines put forth by the FDA, etc., and are radomly inspected on a regular basis, AFAIK.

Sorry, but the meat doesn't come out of a magic meat machine somewhere.. it comes off the carcasses of dead animals, and is especially good with A-1.  :-)

Being originally from the south, i can easily identify with this lol...my dad, however, came over a few weekends ago when W/we had a barbecue and had just returned from visiting family down south...he brought some Gator home with him...NUMMY!

LOL -  I thought you said "my great aunt's in Mongolia".. lol

B's dad brought us some alligator a couple weekends ago.. both cutlets and sausage.. omg it was GOOD.

What it boils down to is my ancestors didn't claw their way to the top of the food chain for me to become vegitarian.

"Vegitarian" derives from an ancient Native American word meaning "Lousy shot".

:-)

There's such a shortage of onmivores in today's "PC" society.  ;-)

A-1, Heinz 57 on pork especially. And most people would rather not think about where there food comes from just that its there. You know i think i am gonna bbq this weekend. my roommate have a grill and i want a few slabs of ribs and some charcole grilled steaks. propane is the devil's work. lousy shot, bad hunter same same.

CrimsonMoan -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/3/2007 9:41:40 AM)

and oh yeah Insty you make me feel so damn small 6'4 wtf did they feed you growing up man?

GhitaAmati -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/3/2007 9:46:17 AM)

the sadistic part wasnt the healthy eating...it was the peoples names on the packaging...can really make people take a step back and reconsider their friendship with ya! lmao

we have alot of local meat shops, mom and pop meat stores that do their own slaughtering and packaging and stuff. Even when we arent using our own mean thats where we go, no homones, nothing injected, honestly better meat, and I think safer than all those iradicated chickens people eat from the supermarket.

CrimsonMoan -> RE: Not For The Easily Offended (7/3/2007 9:48:03 AM)

The horror is because when you NAME an animal its supposed to mean that said creature is special to you. You know that FRED is gonna be the lucky stiff and avoid the chopping block.
