my past mistresses did not know how to plan for retirement all too well. I taught them alot and they used me for my knowledge and gained from me enough to make their own best possible decisions for retirement. Do any of you ladies learn from your subs things you didnt know before? Im sure you all dont know it all but do know how to utilize a sub man in the most beneficial way you can for your own gain.

The most important thing to learn from the other side of the equation is that no one can have any power over you whatsoever, unless you grant it to them.

You alone have the choice whether to lend so much credence to someone that their insults might hurt you.

You alone have the choice whether to lend so much credence to someone that their glowing praise might go to your head.

I learn from Robert and have from other subs/slaves as well.  Robert got me through a statistics class that I was destin to be a C student otherwise.  I wish I could think of all the times I've said "ahhh...that makes sense" or "oh what a good idea" so I could recount some instances but alas right now I can not.

I never underestimate the power of the brain.  It matters not to whom the brain belongs.  Sub, slave, dominant, top, bottom they all have brains and I am attracted to the ones who use theirs.  I love to learn and learning can come from many unlikely sources.  Of course I learn from my subs and slaves...they are by no means unlikely sources of good information!

Of course I do.  The things I've learned are actually too numberous to mention.  There is nothing wrong with utilizing a submissive's strengths in areas that I might not be familiar with.  There have been times in the past that My boy has had greater knowledge in an area that I didn't have.  Wouldn't it make sense to utilize a particular skill that a submissive would have?

I had a very odd person send me a one-line note a few weeks ago. It said "Why would you want a slave who was as intelligent or more intelligent than you?"

Why would I want someone far less intelligent?

By the same token why would I want someone who didn't have different knowledge or skills from me? Why wouldn't I want someone whom I could learn from or not as I chose?

A slave's primary value, in my strong opinion, is what he he can add to my life to make my life easier. I certainly don't get that from someone who is identical to me or knows less than me about everything.

I would not even choose a male unless he had value. I don’t mean the way he kneels before me but his mind and strength. Then again I have met people that were simple, mistaken for stupid but had hearts larger then the moon. It takes a special perception to really see the value in people but the truth is that we learn from even the simplest of human beings.
There is a saying, I’m sure you’ve heard it… “When the student is ready the teacher will appear.”

I spent a great deal of time thinking about this over the years. A homeless man on the streets might be at the right place, the right time and teach the smartest man the most value lesson of his life. We never really know, at first why people come into our life but I am certain its all for a reason.
