MyLadyPolgara -> needle play anyone? (6/14/2005 5:35:38 PM)

Hi A/all,
I haven't been around the forums much here, so first off I'll say hi! <waves>
My question might be a bit of a no brainer for a lot of you, but bear with me please cause this particular realm of kink is new to me. <smile>
I'm trying to find out where I can get 18-20 gauge needle tips for play piercing that are about an inch and a half long. I've found then in much shorter lengths, and much smaller gauges in my local pharmacies, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I've had no luck looking for online suppliers, so if someone could help me out I'd much appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Polgara

Egads I should learn to read! Edited to remove previous response which had nothing in common with the answer you are seeking.

A quick note: this link is a vet link and is about infusion for cats, not humans, who have Chronic Renal Failure (kidney failure).

This page on the site gives a list of places that sell needles (http://members.verizon.net/~vze2r6qt/supplies/compare.htm#Brico), but most are regular medical sites or those who are specifically working against Chronic Renal Failure in felines. You're much better off going to a kinky store; they're much less apt to ask why you need them ('cause they know) or ask for a prescription.

i love this piercing kit... it comes with an assortment of needles with everything you need for play piercing fun. you can buy extra needles when you need more. it even comes in a cute little carrying case with compartments. excellent for it's value. great buy. i do lots of piercing play. :)

In Canada, needles are available at any medical supply (same place doctors & vets buy them) Just go to the counter and ask for what you want....18 guage x 1 1/2". They are usually in boxes of 100.

Check to see if these folks will ship to your state, but RyvMed.com If you go through kinkymedical.net you'll find that they charge $15 + for a box of 100 needles.. Ryvmed sells both a private label and B&D sharps.. I've tried both and found no noticeable difference.. But you're talking $5 for a box of 100 private label (that's 1/3 the price of KinkyMedical) and $8 for a box of 100 B&D.

I get my iodine swabs and scalpels from them as well.

The selection has grown a lot in the passed 6 months I've been using them.. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sutures, Medical staples and other fun things soon too.

Enjoy!

All I can say is ouch! I've never heard of that but I'm slightly new to all this too.
