You know, the "rot-gut" brands that were C-H-E-A-P. We used to buy Knickerbocker for $4.99 a case and a few others.

We used to "go to the park to play tennis" - and pick up Bavaria beer for about 25p a can (about 50 cents in modern money), no questions asked. Cheap, but alright, especially when youre 14. And we didnt beat anyone up, didnt graffiti the place or vandalise anything. E

Old German Beer 69 cents a quart. Canadian Ace beer they sold it by the half gallon. Piels, Red White and Blue. Reading Beer 69 cents a quart also. Carling Black Label. They all had something in common they gave a nasty hangover, the worst pounding head aches possible. They did not taste so great either when compared to a premium beer.

I have never drunk beer. Tried it as a kid, didn't like the taste, didn't try it again.

Hey I drank some Pabst Blue Ribbon last night. I was camping in Western PA at Ohiopyle State Park and got some PBR for old time sake. We also drank Guinness.

Corona WITHOUT a lime. Okay - seriously, I remember buying Carling Black Label 16 oz being cheaper than a six pack of 12 oz Coke, and 'Iron City' being 3 quarts for $1.00. I wonder if they're making either of those any more. While at it, on the wine side, there were 'drive in' nights where I shared my Carling six pack with my date drinking 'MIA' or 'Boone's Farm' or 'Night Train'. Of course if we wanted to get 'wasted' MD-20/20 was always a party favorite.

I didn't drink much until I turned 18 I was a raging Alcholice right from the git go the cheapest beer I ever drank was in Italy in the Navy. Peroni beer ar 100 Lira a bottle when it was 620 Lira to the Buck But i drank Heinekins for 50 cents and that was the BAR price in 1967 I've been sober now for 24 years

In college when broke would drink a beer called "Rhinelander" 5-6 bucks a case...returnable bottles...it made PBR look primo.....It turned your shit green.
