Did I miss the book that said that you have to be bisexual to be in this lifestyle? Is there a book written specifically for Doms that says your sub/slave has to be bi, if there is I want to read it. I have a friend who is my roommate in the lifestyle. When Dom's find out that I have a friend and roommate in the lifestyle they ASSUME that we are bi. We both love men and love being with men. Neither one of us has the need/desire/craving/drive/ambition to be with another woman especially with each other. Yes, I'll admit that I'm just a tad bit curious but I didn't think that meant that I was bi. If its a requirement that I be bi to live in this lifestyle, I'll deal with it the best way I know how and go back to my vanilla life. Where is it that a Dom forces his sub to be bi w/o her consent? Why is it when a sub says she's straight, a Dom hears "I'm secretly bi"? I guess I missed the the lesson in sub school about that one.

great question sasebutterfly, I often wonder that myself. I think there is a place for you and I in the lifestyle, without being bisexual! Hang in here sase, maybe we can form a secret club. lol

The great thing about BDSM is you get to make your own choices and set your own boundaries. The thing that sucks is everyone else does too. I prefer to be pretty much monogamous, others would go nuts.

As somone who looks for bi or bi curious females, I will answer this from why i do it. Answer: Because i like it. Really its more or less so i can involve another female in play if i so desire. So it is preferred as you can do more with two than one. Its not required in th lifestyle.....actually nothing is really required to be in lifestyle i know if except you have to desire to be. Also, it may come out as "im secretly bi" because you are! Ok just kidding. It is perceived as that because as long as the dom convinces himself you are bi( and in the right situation with the right dom you can actually become "bi " for play anyway, especially if your far enough in subspace) the possiblity is still open. If you say " im 110% sure i am not bi never will be not even in deep subspace" you just killed everything for him. At least the other way their is still that chance, so thats what he hears. Selective hearing FTW.

Maybe they just hope... stop teasing those poor guys! And... WHY do so many men have that girl-girl fantasy? None of the women I know want to see guy-guy stuff.

The girls at my college collect yaoi like it's going out of style. I don't get it personally, but I know a lot of girls who love it.

Uh NO. The visual just made it worse....lol. Actually his example had nothing to do with two female animals. It was a male and a group of females. Those are two totally different things. I guess what I'm saying is I'm straight, I'm telling you I'm straight and don't think you're going to manipulate me into thinking and saying I'm something different.

I am not bi and have never been with a woman. However if Hubby ever wanted me to i would do it to please Him, so it's not a limit of mine. You can choose to make it a limit or not.

I'm bisexual, I prefer men though. Its not a prerequisit, its kinda accepted or almost expected of female bottom-types it seems. For me, being with men is what I prefer, a woman on occassion, it leaves that door unlocked if I get in a healthy relationship with a man and we want to have another women on occassion join us.

I am not sexually bisexual. I have no sexual interest in other women at all. I have no problem bottoming to women or submitting to them in non-sexual ways but I won't be sexual with them. At this point in my life I do not see that changing. While there is a remote possibility that it could happen in the future I sincerely doubt that it ever will. It's one of those hard limits that I don't see ever changing.

I see other women as my equal not more dominant. I won't serve a woman sexual or non-sexual. Its not in me. I really see men as my equal. The Dom has to be stronger than me in order to get the submissiveness. Its just the way I'm wired.

I think many girls list themselves as bi, when they really are straight. They seem to think it'll get them noticed sooner. I don't see it this way, but many seem to think it's necessary to be bi. Girls, it's not necessary...and to some, not desireable, either. Be yourself. *'hawk*

I have a small herd of males, they're easy enough...and gay porn is my choice of porn. Finding a female who'll consider serving a Dominant femme seems to be an uphill battle, even though the whole of the world and its sister may put "bi" in the profile.

The first thing my wife and I learnt was that a submissive decides what their limits are and the Dominant is to respect those limits.We both had a very conservative attitude to sex but then we accidently discovered bdsm and now we are open to exploring all options. Our first session with the Dominant couple we now serve had us both agreeing to have our first bisexual experience there and then despite it being a hard limit hours before.
