{shakes head in sorrow} I wish I could give you a hug.  I just went through this type of thing.  Only mine was brought back.  All you can do is be there when she is ready to talk.  At first you are just in shock.  Deal with your own pain as much as you can and try to keep eating and sleeping somehow.  Don't the let the stress get to you because you know it will make you flare up.  Your friend will need you just as you need her in this, but it will have to be when she is ready.  I think what helped me most was people finding a way to communicate through kind of a family spokes person or message on the phone.  As for talking to people, we just couldn't in the beginning.  My thoughts are with you and you know you can reach me if you want to talk to someone who's been there.  May you all be blessed!

I remembered something that might help.  When this happened here... we have a police team that come to assist.  They bring in someone from a group of people who have had loved one's that commited suicide, that work with them.  They don't leave your side until you are okay.  If your police department has something like this, you even would be able to talk to them.  They helpped in a lot of ways you wouldn't think they could.  At first I didn't want to talk to them, but they actually gave me exactly what I needed and I don't know what I would have done without them.  I just had to take myself back to remember.  I hope they have this where you are because they can be amazingly helpful!  My best to you!

Hugs for you.  What terrible sadness for you and especialy your fiend losing a loving son that way.  I know that you must be feeling bad not being there to help your friend, but keep kind thoughts in your mind and I'm sure she'll know you are thinking of her.
