ORIGINAL: MsCfromMelbourne How does your new Owner feel about the branding and tattoos done by the old Owner? Does a slave discreetly not mention the (former) significance of the brand? Hide it? Get it lasered off? I don't have a direct answer to this because my current Master was the first to have permanently marked me. When I received his mark, I didn't believe in "forever" anymore, but the degree to which he has impacted my life is enough to know I will wear his mark, no matter what might happen in the future, as a way of honoring him for who he is and what he has done. We have since pretty much established that whatever occurs in our lives, I will always belong to him. However, he is considerably enough older than me that odds are he will leave this earth before me. Should I ever submit to someone else after his passing, it would be as a submissive and not a slave (as defined by my standards of each), and I will not fully belong to anyone else. Anyone I might submit to (and that's a pretty big "might"), would have to accept that the mark on me is part of who I am, and stays. They would have to accept that part of me will always belong to and submit to my Master, else they will not have me as their submissive. To us, the mark was not placed casually, by any means. It was designed by him for me, and it will remain.
