sorry to keep asking so many questions but its something i really want to understand. what is the meaning or reason for having your slave wear a gimp mask? i read recently that slaves like to be overwhelmed by the smell of rubber and of course not being able to see or speak. is that the real reason? i myself would require my slave to wear one for the sake of humiliation so that they can only see when i want them to see and speak when i allow them to. anyway im interested to know your thoughts on the wearing of gimp masks, and if you are a slave do you look forward to your gimp mask being put upon your face and not being able to see or speak? or do you prefer not to wear one? thats if you are allowed that choice!!! ; )

My opinion? The reason is because it either a. makes the dominant person happy or b. makes the submissive person happy :) Doesn't always have to be a deeper meaning.

well if i were allowed a choice of gimp mask i would choose one made from the panty of my mistress i know that sounds strange but i would like to be overwhelmed by the scent of my mistress.

sensory deprevation; the mask blocks out sound and visual cues, this element of play alone is worth having one for. humiliation; ok, so i look silly in it, or you look silly in it, er only if your not into them, personally, i find them sexy as fuck, so there'd be no humiliation. Rubber smell, well for us rubber fans, thats such a bonus Rubber feel, wearing rubber anywhere, feels like a constraint, but to wear one on your head, seems to intensify this feeling of constraint for me. Breath play, all that restricted breathing in the mask, or hearing your own breath like darth veider (spelling?) lovely. Im have been both the wearer, and the wearee so to speak, both elements are fun for different reasons. If i had to chose, id chose to wear one, rather than place one on a sub, coz they are sexy, and im rather fond of that feeling myself.

hi i really appreciate your reply and it has helped my understanding of gimp masks and their purpose. i find them an incredible turn on when worn by women i think the all black masks are the best i was gonna use one on an old slave of mine.

ok . I'll be the bad one here. I guess.. I would not like the mask because I am claustraphobic. the breath control weraing one would totaly freak me out... Master scared me when He brought it up but thank goodness He was willing to listen to my reasoning and not use it. I would just say make sure the other person can handle that kind of restraint before useing it .. ( of coure thats common sense) lol...for those of Y/you that do enjoy it ...have a ball ...

I never even heard the term "gimp mask" before! It must be a UK thing? Googling it brings back pictures of hoods or full face masks?
