Arpig:
As a citizen of the U.S. I had been under the impression that all citizens would be allowed to view, listen and respond to "public" speeches of the President of our country.
That the cover of this document clearly states that it is a confidential document puzzles me.  The means by which it determines who may and may not attend and how to deal with potential dissenters is troubling.  I think that the huge portion of the data which are redacted speaks more clearly than just the text.

Hello Fargle; I take this to be a manual on dealing with demonstrators at any presidental event.

I have a book, the Berlin Rallies; strange as it sounds, the nazi rallies were just as organised as this document. The crowds were filled with supporters, and demonstrators contary to the nazi, barred, not allowed to be in or near the event. The only media coverage would show nothing but absolute support for hitler, during his event, they were organized to the maximum.

The idea of the citizen to voice his opinions in a free forum, public event was cut to nil. Only supporters were issued tickets, or allowed to attend.

This seems like the same thing; or am I decieved.

I agree that the amount redacted is concerning, but this sort of procedure is really commonplace the world over, no politician wants to go into an "uncontrolled" environment where troubling questions or opinions might ruin the sound bite. I am a little surprised that this surprises anybody

Hello Arpig; It should not be surpising to anyone, but it is. It is the way the populace is controlled, and the speaker gets the very best image projection, however contrived and manipulated.

However: in America, we all are battered with the notion that we are 'FREE'; free to say, and do what we wish, to oppose, provided within decency and the law. It is a hypocritical idealogy that is the american belief system, freedom for all, a democracy where each and every one of it's citizens can participate in government and the country affairs, decent, offer different views. We are given the 'right to vote', nevermind that the voting is rigged. We are given the right to redress of grievances, to petition the government and courts for percieved injustices, never mind to do so will cost you an arm and a leg in fees, attorneys, etc. This freedom ideaology is inbred in every american child at birth, but without certain realities.

Big corporation, government insider interests, never mind. That is not taught.

When the laws, are, by comparison, the same laws, enacted by nazi germany, are passed here, under guise of 'keeping America Free', 'protecting our families, our children' only differences being the words and the year; no one wants to reconize the nazism being applied. If you try to tell any one, use the term nazi, immediately you are blasted to smitherines. If you use the word, fascist, they look at you with a blank stare, they have no clue what a fascist is.

The president took an oath to protect and safeguard the constitution of the United States of America, and the country from all enemies from without and within. Yet, at every possible turn, the president has attempted to circumvent, destroy the power of the articles, ammend the constitution in every concievable method and manner. Even to undermining it with statements like "it's only a piece of paper'.

Yet, people support him to the point of being fanactically obsessed.

Okay; I think, in the House of Representatives, on the wall, behind the podium of the Speaker of the House, in high relief, in gold leaf, about 10 feet in height, on either side is the symbol of Fascism, the Facis.

When, during a press release, with Knwet Ginrich, being speaker, the press conferance got pretty heated, and one reporter, raised up, and asked just exactly what those two symbols on the wall behind him meant. It was a prelude to an accusitory question. The replie was, who are you, how did you get in here, escort him out.

Where was the reporter's 'free' speech rights then.

This Advance to presidential events, is a manual, to pepper an audience with nothing but approval robots. Any one who would object, simply is not there, by this control manual. Thus, the news broadcasts, show the president with an overwhemling supporter base, no discentor whatsoever. The news is manipulated, from the very concept of the event and the American people viewing all the absolute support, do not wish to be associated with the opposion, because in what they see, there is no opposition.

If you, bring up the nazi compaison history to what we have now, you are attacted as being 'Obsessed with the Nazis' and "what the hell has the Nazis to do with US now'; in your face, yelling they are.

Now, you want to become a citizen of the United States; in your application, among a set of questions, there is: Have you or a member of your family ever been a member of the Nazi party? Do you subscribe to the beliefs of the Nazi party?; 2007 Immigration application. I could suppy you with the exact language, but it is avaiable anywhere. I wondered how Arnold answered that question.

I think the real meat and potatoes is the explicit acknowledgment that the Secret Service doesn't give a shit about Hecklers, and they make a point of telling the organizers that it's THEIR JOB to suppress Free Speech.

( And gives them tips on how to do it, to... )

In the Secret Service's defense, I would hate to see what sort of lunacy would emanate from AnencephalyBoy if he went and did a Michael Richards to somebody heckling him.

Which is not to say I have any respect for somebody who lacks the balls to stand up at a podium as an elected public official and not allow those who elected him to speak their minds freely.
