Well.. after a few times of talking, chatting, getting all insightful and whatnot, my husband and I have decided that the M/s dynamic wasn't really working for us.
I can't really explain WHY, exactly, except that it was really interfering with our marriage in a bad way. We were losing that essential "Us-ness" that we both cherished so much. I was having trouble thinking of myself as "owned property" and he felt the same, so we just ditched the whole concept. Why fix what ain't broke?
Honestly? I feel pretty good about the decision. Except now I feel obliged to change my profile, and the whole slave tag was doing a damn good job keeping most of the HNGs away. =)
