Yeah, me too, and I was all wtf? I remember my kids playing that when they were little. I had no idea it was so popular. Well, maybe espn is desperate.

i forget where i heard it from, but i rather prefer a variation on the game- Boot, Cockroach, Atomic Bomb [:D] This is what happens when people watch things like golf and poker on television... the broadcasters realize they can air pretty much any damned thing and people will still tune in to it rather than get off the couch or communicate with another human being.

i was looking for that concert folks were talking about and found this last night.......i am sure i had that silly, head cocked to one side, cant believe what im seeing look, as i sat alone and said huh? tomorrow on espn2........watching ice melt!!! ill bring the beer, yall bring the munchies....

My adult son mentioned to me once how he was in a R/P/S "tournament" at a local bar. Apparently it's reached Olympic proportions.

It's like poker apparently you can spot what people are about to do. I always opt for rock because you can get away with turning it into paper at the last minute.

Ahhh but the transition from Rock to scisors is more easy to spot as you first have to flatten your hand and then seperate your fingers. The transformation from rock to paper is just flattening your hand. Rock vs rock is a draw but if you switch to paper you can snatch a win unless the other person is using my tactics and they swap to paper also.

R/P/S arm wrestling eating anything can be a big draw SPORT now as long as there are enough people. Mind you RPS is an interesting game to watch for the simple fact some peopel are hard to read and you will never guess what they are gonna throw. But if any eating competitions are on i will watch in amazed horror

i have to agree cuddle. Driving your car at high speeds is a sport. And here i thought it was breakign the speed limit
