I went to see the Transformers this afternoon.
I enjoyed it a lot.
It was fun, exciting and now I keep waiting for certain cars
to transform.
IF you like Transformers, you will not be disappointed.
It is a great summer movie for all ages to enjoy.

We come in peace.

Everybody I know who's seen it loved it...  I mean, Michael Bay & giant fighting robots!  What's not to like?

The new Die Hard movie is good, too.

Hello pollux!
How are you?  Where have you been hiding?

Or did someone put you in a cage?

I am almost ashamed to admit it but I not only saw it today, I really enjoyed it.  Every once in a while Hollyword remembers to tell a story and this one did.

The entire idea of Teen on Teen on Car action with all the other robots standing in a circle jerking off is a little too creepy for me...

Michael Bay is a Fucking Idiot.

But we knew that going in, didn't we?

When I used to watch transformers as a kid I wondered what would happen to someone if they were sitting in a car that transformed into the shape of a human. It wouldn’t be pretty that’s for sure.

At best, I'll wait until it hits the $1 rental bin. To me, this needs to stand on it's own against the rest of the TF work, and unfortunately, after Forward and DiTillo's work on Beast Wars, the bar is simply too high for Michael Bay to get the job done.

That, and compared to a good live band, the entertainment value of a movie theater is embarrassingly small ( Excepting the local Palace Theater's run of "Lord of the Rings Marathon" ( all 3 ) for ten bucks ( 8 bucks in costume or w/ coupon ) ( Popcorn is $2.00 a bag )

PS: Why call him Bumblebee if he's not a VW beetle?

Would you rather have Bumblebee be called something else?

I saw it and took my mother with me ... who had been complaining about not wanting to see it for about a week ... but she owed me since I went with her to watch some other painful movie ... and when tranformers was over?  She was calling people telling them they had to go and see it, lol.  The only bad thing ... these 3 rude people behind us talked during the ENTIRE movie.  They never stopped and every other word was "fuck" or "shit" ... it has been a long time since I have been that annoyed by another person.

I'd rather have Bumblebee *be* a VW Beetle....

I really enjoyed the movie too.  Had a couple of things that I wish had been done better  (Giving Megatron/Starscream etc more dialogue, etc), but the movie was a blast. =)

So, I'm guessing you dont get the Citroen car ads on TV? They've been running over the last year or so - the cars transform into human shaped robot thingies and dance or run or whatever. Quite scary all in all. One heck of a coup by Citroen too I suppose; "mommy, daddy, I want a transformer car - the Citroen C2, it was on telly just"
