vieja2puta -> The sounds of a whip (7/8/2007 6:53:44 AM)

As I was growing up I always liked the sound of the crack a whip would make. And in the last several years I have had the desire to experience the feel of it.
It would be nice to meet a group of experienced Whip Masters around my state. I've always liked the idea of being tied up between two poles all stretched out and about 6 feet in the air.
With my cock and balls tied like a ball and covered with a leather bag for protection. Then recieve 10 lashes in the front and back with the intent to pull off the bag and crack the whip between my ass.

We were all thinking it, you just said it.

Yeah, especially since most whip cracking groups are not kinky oriented. They'd just love that! ;)

Elorin -> RE: The sounds of a whip (7/8/2007 9:16:52 AM)

One of the best whipmasters I know is WhipMasterBob who makes whips as well as cracks them, and would not need a bag on your balls to hit you accurately or crack a whip in the crack of your ass. But you'll learn that there is only a small part of the whip that normally touches someone, and once it cracks in your ass you probably don't want it hitting elsewhere on your body, especially since whips frequently break the skin.

As someone who absolutely shivers (I'll be honest, someone who drips) from the sound of a whip cracking, I once wanted to feel similar things to what you mention. So I had a good whip handler in my local BDSM community whip me. He was gracious and seemed to enjoy the opportunity much as I did, but he knew the same thing when we were done. Being HIT with a whip is a BAD thing for me (there are rare exceptions) while hearing a whip is delicious.

As was mentioned don't just go out looking for whip cracking groups, as there are a ~lot~ of vanilla whip cracking groups out there. Instead, look for local BDSM groups and then ask within them if there are any whipmasters willing to help your fantasy come true.

And don't expect to get every aspect of your fantasy met. It's very specific and unlikely that someone else will share exactly the same fantasy to act it out as you have to experience it.

If you do see Bob, give him Elorin's love

Love your post, I get whipped once a month currently and the sound of the whip can be very exciting.  There are many whip makers offering their beautiful work for sale on the net.  There must be lots of whip owners who could accommodate you.  And as for pain or having skin broken, for some of us it is wonderful.  Most scars fade over time,  few will last for long.  It is only the really severe strokes that last and carrying them can be very stimulating.

just watched the video...lol

are these people actually serious....there is so much more to this lifestyle than whips and being tied up.  Sometimes this place just makes me sick.

theMadWelder -> RE: The sounds of a whip (7/12/2007 11:43:33 AM)

He is a very good whip maker as well as a world record setting whip performer. A fine young man that is a gentleman in every respect.

HardnRuff -> RE: The sounds of a whip (7/12/2007 12:07:16 PM)

I Know that the sound of a whip is created by the cracker breaking the sound barrier , I wonder what is the highest recorded speed ??I have heard of Mach 1 or better being achevied .

theMadWelder -> RE: The sounds of a whip (7/12/2007 12:18:43 PM)

The speed of sound is about 760 mph, I dont really have any idea what the fastest someone has ever thrown a whip.

The young fella that you post the link to holds a couple of records, one for the most whip cracks per minute, and for cracking the longest whip.

I really take exception to posts that are so critical of others.  Comments like "makes me sick" are just not needed.  I had hoped this was a place of greater understanding  and acceptance of the diversity of the human psyche.  Good bye.......

Don't judge the barrel on one rotten apple...

Emperor1956 -> RE: The sounds of a whip (7/12/2007 2:30:32 PM)

FR:  It is too bad a nice thread about whipcracking and whip speed had to start off with a wanker.  But assuming we can get past the purile desires of the OP, a couple of things:

Elorin, and others who longed to be on the target end of a bullwhip and learned that (I LOVE this understated phrase) "Being HIT with a whip is a BAD thing for me" --  As a cracker, I've been there.  The undeniable eroticism of the whip as it cracks, snakes, flows and cracks again can give way to a lot of misery when the business end (usually called a cracker) makes contact.  And NOT good "misery".  Bad.  I love my singletail whips, and I'm competent with them, but actually using them on a person is a risky proposition I've learned.  Unlike floggers, paddles, even canes, whips are something else...and not something that in real use are taken lightly.  Proceed with caution.

Now in balance, I have to say that for some (and thank you God for them!), whip cracking makes wonderful foreplay.  10 years ago or so when I did a fair amount of public cracking in the Chicago scene, there was rarely a night when, unlimbering my well worn and easy cracking 6' and taking a few practice throws, I didn't spot several women in the audience who were in melty melty land with the first sound of the whip, and with a bit of skill and a lot of luck, I could play with them right through the plaited 'roo *smile*.

HardnRuff and MadWelder, I don't know the record speed of a whip.  Actually measuring such a thing is a nice problem, and one that better minds than mine have tackled.  I'm content with the "1000 KM/hour" figure.  It sounds fast and hip *grin*

And finally, the world of whipcrackers can in fact be pretty easily segregated between those who indulge in kink, and those who don't.  And those who don't often have nothing but disdain for those who do.  So you walk in those worlds carefully, and (for my money) carry a BIG whip.

Is it true that the whip breaking the sound barrier makes the sound or is it just that it snaps back against itself? Know what I mean?

GoddessPAS -> RE: The sounds of a whip (7/12/2007 9:57:37 PM)

Well now you are talking my kind of kink, I enjoy cracking and snaping a whip and would so enjoy doing your balls I'm in the USA, and anytime and I'm in Florida, feel free to chat more with me about this fetish, I desire to  have a electric blue bull whip to do such activiity. I have had such fantasy and we both would be so fulfilled.

ExSteelAgain -> RE: The sounds of a whip (7/12/2007 10:00:31 PM)

LOL....geez, I hope she wasn't talking to me.

To crack a whip, you move it in one direction then pull it sharply
back in the opposite direction.  A wave-like curve passes down the
length of the whip, getting smaller as it goes.  When the wave
reaches the end of the whip there is a loud popping sound that can
release as much energy as a firecracker.

The cause of the sound is the speed of the whip's movement through
the air.  As the wave travels down the whip it becomes compressed
into a shorter length of ever-narrower whip.  The compression and the
narrower material cause the wave to speed up.

The crack happens when the wave nears the tip.  By that time, the
movement exceeds the speed of sound.  The crack is actually a tiny
sonic boom, a shock wave just like the one made by the Space Shuttle
as it re-enters the atmosphere.
The sound of a whip cracking is simply this: it is a miniature sonic boom. The free end of the whip is, for a brief instant moving fast enough to cause a small implosion of air as it leaves the point where it reached full extention and was withdrawn, the resulting rush of air molecules filling the suddenly empty space, thus creating a miniature sonic boom, mimicing the sound a jet makes when it passes the speed of sound, albeit on a much smaller scale.
By the 1920s, high-speed photography revealed that a whip's cracker can indeed break the sound barrier.

yeah it was not the most graceful of contributions ill give you that, but we all have bad days......most folks here are pretty understanding.....usually its the young ones that say stuff like that, but they mellow in time...most of us did.[;)]
