ORIGINAL: SBMaster I would love it if Admiral GoofPaul won the nomination! People around the country are demanding that the government do something to fix what they think is ailing the country. Paul's solution is for the government to do nothing. On a related note, why is it that these Libertatian wackos always come from the West? The West actually pays less in taxes than it gets out in Federal benefits, and whenever there's a disaster, they're the first in line for government assistance. I always found that amusing! His solution is to transfer power from the federal government to the state governments and communities. That is kinda how this country was designed to work. So, yeah, the federal government would be providing less benefits/hamperance(depending on viewpoint) but it would be up to the states if they want to offer a replacement to those services or not. He basicly doesn't believe in the federal government micromanaging things that used to be state by state decisions. More choices , more options, and more specific solutions to specific state and community problems. Solutions coming from the state, and communities, not Washington D.C. You can't honestly be against that, or can you? Most of what Ron Paul says is in regards to the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. Please don't apply what he says, to the state level, they will have more power in relation to the Federal government if he had his way, and I'm all for that. I've watched and read everything I can get a hold of for the last few months in regards to Ron Paul, so, I'm not mistaken here, and if you insist I'm sure I can scrounge up a reference for you if you really want one.
