MenRProperty -> The truth behind chastity devices (7/8/2007 7:25:59 PM)

I want to place my sub in chastity and have been researching the various devices out there.  Seems that most of the "testimonials" about the devices come from men so naturally are given to a lot of fantasy.  I'd like to hear from Mistresses who have experience with devices as to what worked, what didn't and why.  Thanks for your help!

On thing I have experienced with 'The Curve' multiple times and the CB3000 once was that There were times where I slipped out on mistake. That is a problem I experienced with those devices and i haven't tried anything others. Overall In my reading of some reason why Domme's use the devices and Have noticed a bit of change in my submission but not something huge. The domme's that I have talked to enjoy the emense power restricting the ability to orgasm or get fully hard can be fun for them.

Not a Domme answering just a sub who has tried chasity

I prefer to keep a male in chastity by my word alone; however, if you're into devices/toys, think twice about the CB2000/3 if he's on the smaller size - - I hear it's easy to slip out of.

I know I'm not a Domme, but I am a sub who has actually worn them (and is wearing one now)

The Good: There a fun toy, a constant reminder of your submission, a very affective bondage tool.

The Bad: They can be very uncomfortable, especially if not fitted properly. There can be hygen issues with long term wear. Depending on the model, escape is one seconds away.

Thats my take on chastity devices I've used (the CB-2000 and 3000)

If you have a collared sub, discuss the possiblility of a prince albert piercing. I had a sub with a smaller than usual penis, however the redeeming factor was his PA piercing. Internet information about this piercing abounds, my only word of advice is to try to find an experienced piercer or even a doctor for this one.
There are several devices that make a chastity device with a prince albert quite the experience. Tickleberry carries a PA security cable for their  CB-2000 and CB-3000 line.
Mistress Lori sells a custom made metal chastity device just for subs with prince albert piercing.
Devices work for some people and dont for others. The CB-2000 and CB-3000 line seems to be fairly standard and widely used.

I have a curve for Angel. He is not kept in it often, he stays chaste by command and not by enforcement. However, I like having the option of putting him in when I choose

Did you resize the ring, change a spacer or try the teeth addon?

Bottom line with chastity is, if you want long term you'll have to invest in a steel custom made belt.....the CB range are only good short term......

I've been in a CS500 steel belt by chastitysteel since November 06, i get out 15 minutes in the morning to shower and re-grease, half hour at night to shave and bathe, both out times supervised....it's comfortable, places no restrictions on working or any activity, doesn't bulge through cloths, i can't give it a high enough review...

We wasted lots and lots of money over the years trying out numerous off the shelf devices, the only way chastity works is custom made.......sorry but if you want it, then it's going to cost you[&:]

i have the cb2000, my former Mistress used to lock me in for a month at a time, but every 36 hrs she would take it off to clean the device and me and then lock me back in, i found the device to be very comfortable and sometimes i forget im wearing it.

Hello.  i've tried both the cb2000 and 3000 and found both of them lacking in terms of security.  It is very easy to pull out, even without really trying.  They are very comfortable though, but not too secure.

I'm sitting here laughing at this thread, because it's so evident that guys just can't or won't follow instructions!  The woman asked for domina input!

well it wasn't my toy so i didn't have all the add-ons. I am purchasing my own this fall and I am buying the teeth to fix that problem

LadyZee -> RE: The truth behind chastity devices (7/10/2007 8:23:47 PM)

As you have heard from others, the Curve and CB devices are easier to slip out of and if you want real security you need to have a PA piercing to further secure the device.  However, I think they can be very handy, especially as an "entry level" device.

If/When it is clear that your sub is ready for a real device, custom made is the way to go.  I highly recommend lockedinsteel.com -- owned and operated by folks who can (and will) answer all of your questions about the various devices available from them *and* their competitors, with opinions from both chaste subs and Dominants.
