very eclectic.  I've rebelled against the mommy uniform of t-shirt and jeans, so if I go out running errands, it's usually a casual skirt and knit shirt if it's hot, or sweater and pants or skirt w/boots in the winter.  I tend to choose items that are a little different, a little funkier than the average white chick.  if I'm working, then I'll accecesorize, dahling, and wear nicer shoes.

around the house, it's a tank top and shorts tho, the stretchier the better.

My style of dress is variable,

hot weather = tank tops & shorts, some short skirts, sandals
warm weather = t-shirts & jeans, some broomstick skirts, sandals or slip on shoes
cold weather = pants & sweaters, some long skirts, slip on shoes or boots

more natural makeup and hair styles

for clubs/fetish parties, black on black or black with dark red/wine/puple/indigo/silver
more dramatic make-up and hair styles

I have a collection of beautiful Irish sweaters that I got everytime I went to Ireland.
When I lived in New Hampshire I could wear them for about 8 months a year.
Here in South Carolina I can wear them in Dec and Jan but not everyday as we have temps in the 60's and 70's during those months too.

hm....style of dress...Im a mother of three small children, so most everything I own has baby food stains on it somewhere...usually a stained Tshirt and a pair of shorts...if Im going out without the kids, I may actually put on a clean pair of jeans and dig for a non stained top.

Ghita, I know a woman who is in a similar situation as you and at home she always wears those green or blue "Nurses Scrubs."

I'm pretty casual most of the time after years of wearing uniforms.
Now I kind of have a "style", cargo shorts from LL Bean and short sleeved shirts and Wolverine hiking boots in the warm weather.
In the "not so warm weather" that they have here in South Carolina it's Wrangler jeans, short sleave shirts or maybe a sweater and cowboy boots or Wolverine hiking boots again.
What about you

I dress in a fairly urban modern feminine style of clothing.  I pretty much buy from twostores: Jones of NY and Lane Bryant.  Since its warm I've become fond of chignons and big earrings and flat sandals with long skirts and bright tops.

Generally jeans or shorts, t-shirts, flip flops.

Throw on a tie for formal.

Sinergy

p.s. Then I have lots of silk and cotton dress shirts, double breasted suits, etc.

p.p.s.  My dock clothes are carhartt pants , orange day glow shirts, and those get washed once a year whether they are dirty or not.

I'm pretty eclectic. Usually a skirt and a slinky top. I rarely wear pants. everynow and again I will throw on a pair of jeans and a band tee. If I'm doing something fun it's usually a funky costume of some sort that I've made myself stockings and heals. Basically ultra-femine

Funny, some people may think I'm a "Yuppie" with all that LLBean stuff.
Until I open my mouth.

What I wear depends upon the time of year and what I have to be doing.

Here at home in the summer if I am just hanging out and not doing physical labour it is one of my t-shirt dresses and flipflops. If I am working in the gardens I generally go for a baggy tshirt, shorts and sneakers with a hat to avoid sunburn and glare. If I am working horses then I wear some sort of riding pants instead of the shorts.

During cold weather I generally am wearing sweats or yoga pants with a sweatshirt or tshirt at home, add insulated cover alls for working out in really cold weather.

At work it is pretty much jeans and sneakers year round with a tshirt during hot weather and several layers on top during cold. I may run the place but that just means I am all over the shop and tend to get ink on myself regularly. I always have some bling from the vast collection on in addition to makeup, to feel more feminine.

Because my daily life no longer is condusive to feminine dressy clothing, when I get the opportunity to wear that type of stuff I jump all over it. I went to an evening wedding on Saturday and wore a veddy nice black column dress, some very sexy black lace sandals with outrageously high heels and some pretty sparkly diamond baubles.
