Every day I go into my boss' office and tell him I quit.
My boss tells me to go fuck myself and then get back to work.
I say No, you can't treat me like this, I'm a grown man and human being and I have ri-
-Shut up, he tells me.
Then he proceeds to recount in a loud, calm voice some of my more embarassing private moments.
People in my office turn and give me funny looks. One girl laughs.
I'm beet red, my nails digging into my palms. Every day it's the same! Damn! Thing!
Would you like me to share the really good stuff? He asks.
No, I grovel.
He then proceeds to inform me that he's cutting back my salary and increasing my working hours and oh, by the way, no I cannot have thursday off because he knows I'm just planning to go to the beach and then sneak onto a golf course with my buddies.
Lastly, he says to get home early because he promises to do horrible things to me later.
I tell you... being self-employed can really suck.
