am living in a smaller community in Michigan, have not had much luck with finding an obediant sub, any thoughts?

Have you looked for lifestyle groups in some of the larger cities around you that may have Munches and Events going? Perhaps local message boards online for your area?

It's always easier to meet people first, and let people get to know you and then move into trying to find a specific submissive I've found. IF you are looking for something r/t and local as opposed to online/phone for a while and then possibly traveling to meet at a later date.

Or am I reading this incorrectly and you just cannot find lifestyle around you?
If so, go here and search for munches in your area...or close by.

Now, of course - I'm going by your name here... but Bay City seems like it's not a town that's real accepting of persons in our lifestyle.  I'm closer to Detroit and although there is a broader base to chose from as far as submissives, unfortunately if you're simply looking online, that tends to lead to disappointment (Trust me, I've asked myself the same question you have!).  I don't know if you have access to "The Metro Times" but they always have alternative ads.  Royal Oak and Ferndale also have a lot of groups that are D/s related and may not necessarilly fall into "munches" all the time. I wish I could offer up more hope, as well... but maybe looking down this way may open up a few more avenues.

I live about a half an hour from Bay City. I have not seen you at any of the local events. Granted, there is not a great deal going on up that way...one group that I know of....but if you are willing to take an hours drive Flint is fairly active. If you are having trouble finding things you can contact me on the other side and I can give you some links. I would suggest signing up at the following link...it is an email notification only group that will send you information on many Michigan munches and events.

I've had pretty much the same issues (finding a compatible sub) here in Colorado. Being in my 20s and a non-smoker pretty much rules out everyone I've met at the local munches. I've considered going to Thunder, but the relatively high price tag always discourages me, since I'm not much of one for social gatherings (the munches are about as far as I go, and I'll probably stop going to those, too).

Good luck on your search. I had lived in Michigan for nearly a decade, and a year or so in I just gave up on looking and decided to wait until I left the state to find something in the bdsm realm.

Maybe your definition or expectation of "obedient" needs to be examined/explored.  And are you communicating to potential subs what you expect from them?  I have run into a couple of Doms who could not commumicate to me what "obedient" meant to them, so if they didnt know, how on earth could I???  One just kept telling me to be a good girl, without listing or defining what he considered "good".  Obviously, we didnt get too far LOL

If a Dom creates alot of silly, waste-of-time rules or rituals that are hard to follow and have a real life, then he is creating an impossible situation for the submissive.  So is she disobedient, or he is unrealistic/inexperienced/immature is his demands/expectations???
