That's an interesting thought. In my mind, lasting a long time and controlling sex go hand in hand, but I don't think one causes the other. In other words, I really think it is just a physical phenomenon that I take longer to ejaculate than most men, and I can't imagine not wanting to be in control even if somehow I started to ejaculate more rapidly.

You know honestly 1-2 hours? I cant imagine that.

Mabey its because I'm 19 and eager lol, but I cant last that long, not without slowing down or breif stopping periods.
Are we talking 1-2 hours straight and constant speed?

My record low was probably under 2 minutes. I considered that 'premature,' for certain. It was a long time ago, youth has both advantages and disadvantages.

Record high... well my record longest sexual session was around 12 hours. I was also very young then ;) and the girl ran away afterwards, so I guess that was a bit too much. But that session included a number of orgasms, so I guess in the sense you're looking for the record high would be around 6 hours.

There are changes with age, I seem to mellow a bit, losing a bit from the extremes on both ends. Anywhere from forty-five minutes to an hour and a half seems to be normal for me now, when we're not doing Tantra, which can take a bit longer and has to be reserved for when no one needs to work in the morning. Masturbation and 'use' sex can be a bit quicker, particularly when we haven't done it for awhile, perhaps as quickly as 10 minutes in some cases.

I have to agree that I don't think the simple link implied there quite makes sense. I can exercise control just as effectively by quick 'use' sex as by a long session.

I think there is some link there though, it's just not quite understood. Perhaps men who have a more powerful sex drive also tend to engage in sex more often, and thus develop more stamina and control, and also tend to be more likely to explore their desires more deeply and develop non-vanilla identifications?

That's pretty much my experience. When I was younger I was more likely to 'finish' quickly, but I could also give more repeat performances, so to speak.

Glad I came back to this thread because I apreciate this reply and in my experience would tend to agree with Lady Green that it's a control issue rather than I'm unable to reach the last part to a sexual cycle (I mean basically excitement/plateau/orgasm/relaxation).http://en.mimi.hu/sexuality/inhibited_orgasm.html

Yes Karbon it is something of a cruel joke.
I wouldn't worry about lasting 1-2hours between hits for your lady; if she wants you to last that way, she can pretty much control and ensure that you don't cum until she is ready (if you surrender that way).
My vagina is too sensitive /not built to take 1-2 hours of continuous fucking, but more power to the women who can and the men who do that for them. M

The thing KarbonKopy was talking about is about right, men reach their physical sexual peak much earlier than women. One of the reasons for some of the disconnects I think. Actually both retarded and inhibited ejaculation are terms that describe similar functions or as some say, disfunctions.

Someone else asked and I'm curious to know as well, are these two hour pumping sessions going on without any orgasms for some of you men or are we just talking about how long you go on and on and on in a single period session of sexual intercourse? I'm jsut curious. Cause if a guy is banging my peach non-stop for two or more hours, forget a pea break, I'm gonna take a movie or dinner break.

And to the target question, I can't answer that, but it's no fun being the recipient of premature ejaculation, which I was a few weeks ago. No fun at all. A happy medium is what's called for.
