So I talked to a "domme" today. It was an interesting experience. It was obvious she had no idea about the concept of ownership and loyalty. And when I refused to show her what she wanted to see I got called a kid, fake and what-not. My question here is, Would a genuine dom/domme be like that or would they show more respect for ownership?

I need the full picture to offer my wisdom. Errrm so what did she want to see exactly?

Do you really need a reply from any of us to formulate an answer on your own?
My guess is that this person just wanted to get pictures of the goodies.
You are under no obligation to show off the goods regardless as to whether this person is a complete wanker or some well known dominant with tons of friends that could attest to their credibility.
(sorry, I'm not going to use the words "genuine dom/me" because I can't pass judgements like that on anyone)
Your reply MstressPassion makes Me think of the quote "Advice is what you ask for when you already know the answer, but dont want to admit it..." Or something like that.

I think you will find people, male and female, top, bottom and otherwise, who act like this.
Why did you talk to her exactly? Did she contact you?
What was disrespectful about the interaction in your opinion? Some folks seem to think that labeling themselves doms or subs automatically mean others must interact with them as though they are in scene.

We all have different ideas of what makes a person a certain...well label (yes I said it). Apparently her idea and yours were not at all the same. Just chalk it up to learning and move on my dear.
