I know... I know... Curiosity killed the cat... but this tigress would really like to know if this has happened to anyone else...

When "playing" in the shower, I have had such an intense orgasm, that I have felt really dizzy or faint, even as far as actually having my vision "black out" for a brief time, and almost losing consciousness.

It has happened more than once to me, but at the same time that it makes me hot, it concerns me.
Please give me some feedback on whether it has happened to you before, and whether or not it is something that I should really be concerned over, for my health and well being.

Well lots of people have had orgasms and passed out from them- but it might not be wise to try it in the shower unless you're laying down.

You might want to see your doctor about it. Sounds like your body is having trouble regulating your heartbeat from both the stres of orgasm/arousal and the temperature change (heat from the shower).

I've got neurocardiogenic syncope (fainting disorder) and the same thing happens to me. My maintenance meds help, but Jinx and I dont play in the shower, just to be safe.

sorry to say, although it's a great experience, it is not something you should be trying to achieve. The vasoconstriction going on in a hot shower is one reason why we don't tend to allow heart patients in the hospital to take a shower.....you can pass out, and fall, and end up with a lot worse than just a "syncopal episode". be well.....

Does this ever happen anywhere besides the shower? There are some people who experience this with some regularity, and is in fact, the reason that the French term "la petite mort" ("the little death") was coined. In some people, their orgasms are so intense that they pass out or experience extreme faintness and lethargy. If it happens only in the shower, it is likely an environmental product and could be harmful. If it happens other places, you should keep a log of when, where and what was going on before it happened to see if any of the triggers are environmental. If you notice that this is the case, you should speak to a doctor. It could be blood-pressure related, especially if the hot shower triggers it. Do your hands and feet get swollen at all?

That has happened to me, but not in a shower. It happens almost half the time when I have been on an orgasm roll, and I hit that really big one. I either black out for a few seconds, or I think I do LOL cause I have lost a bit of time during those times, OR I end up fully paralyzed for a few minutes. It never occurred to me it could indicate a health problem. I just thought I was having more fun with more intense orgasms LOL

I have passed out after an orgasm one or two times. Tied lying down to a bed on both occasions.

My first submissive had a tendency to pass out after the first one or two orgasms. She was also a squirter and I am not sure if it was the intensity of the orgasm itself or the combined intensity of the orgasm and the experience. Given our conversations since that time, I tend to think it was the combination. In your case, I also think you should speak to your doctor but also...stop playing in the shower by yourself. Sounds like a good way to wind up with more ouchie than you bargained for when you picked up the soap on a rope.

i also feel the same thing with my orgasms!especially when i had been whipped before i cum or when i do squirting. i think that's why i forget to breath and for some second my brain is without fresh air so the blood sirculation is down! i believe that isn't something to be afraid of ,though!

when you black out in the shower and want to faint it has to do with your oxygen level, and the steam coming from the shower.

only when i have been sitting in for a long period of time and my legs are crossed (like that happens very often) *winks*...

well i sure hope that this isn't the case with me, but i will make sure i ask my doctor about it... like i said earlier... i have enough going on with my brain, and parts of the rest of my body already... heh

the water was more luke warm than hot, but did create a bit of steam....
