Hello everyone.
I have recently been introduced to the existence of the BDSM community here in Tampa by a good friend of mine. Since I am anxious to participate I am beginning my journey by educating myself as much as possible before I make my first step into the scene.
Its such a relief to know that after years of feeling like some kind of weird freak because I enjoyed tying up my GFs and ravishing their bodies till they nearly passed out that there is a community where that and so much more is the norm and not the exception.
I am also glad to know that there is a community where my fantasies about rougher treatment are accepted and there are women out there who appreciate such attention.
I have been reading up on the subject in books like 'Screw the Roses, Send Me The Thorns' and 'Bottoming' as well as discussing my thoughts and questions with my ggod friend and people I have started corresponding with here on the personals.
As much as I know I would relish the role of being a dom, I know from past experience I also enjoy being dominated every now and then so for that reason I currently concider myself a switch. Perhaps some time in the scene will change my mind on the subject though.
I realize for the sake of learning the ropes, and the whips as well, that it might be best that I be at the recieving end of some harsh discipline before I really get into dishing it out myself. But then again who knows, perhaps I will start the other way around.
I am approacing this with a completely open mind so I can discover the maximum limit of power play and stimulation that I and my potential playmates can enjoy.
I figured I would make this post here so that those with much more wisdom than I currently posess can help me find my way towards ultimate enlightenment as well as sexual transcendence.
Current obligations will be keeping me busy for the next few weeks but I plan to begin training at master's quest and socialising at club chambers by mid july.
As a newbie switch I would appreciate as much guidance and help as my fellow collarme.com members can provide me with.
